Tuesday night, I was caught in a bit of a quandary. Benny and Joshie had a game, but I wanted to go to Ryan's practice, in case those same boys showed up again. Sunday morning we got up, ate breakfast, and then went to church together before we said goodbye to Brenda and Pat. They had loaded their belongings into the van before we left the house so they could leave for the airport as soon as the service ended. I remember watching him in Mission Impossible and always liked him as an actor. I just noticed that he was born in the same year as my mother, but she died in 1999. At least he had a little longer in his mortal shell. R.I.P., Martin Landau!

Brenda, Pat, and the boys all woke up early Sunday morning, eager to get underway. After they were dressed and had loaded their gear into the van, we went inside to eat.
