The other six chapters are equally good (and funny). The fan fic factor isn't too high, since it takes place in the universe of the game, but it's a simple enough universe so that the original characters and situations have a life of their own and blend in with the adventures nicely. If you don't mind a little zombie bashing, you should have fun with the GSA members.

I read the first two chapters and I laughed out loud three times: I agree with Fish Wings on the humor. I then went to check out what Resident Evil was (never played it, and movies based on video games don't appeal to me much), and I'm quite curious to see what's going to happen to Kieran next. OK, back to chapter 3.

Thanks for the info. I'm quite certain CJames is quite aware of this. Why didn't Mr. Williams pay them a flight to Anchorage, or Winnipeg for instance? A nice, peaceful location where they are safe. Especially since they won't be able to bring their weapons along, and this mysterious BlackHeart could be hiding somewhere. He knows what they look like whereas they don't have a clue as to what HE looks like.

Yes, there is an evil cliff-hanger. Will Ryan tell Josh to buzz off? Will he turn into a werewolf because up above the two dudes from the beginning have chosen to curse him? Will the author find some yet more wicked twist in plot to get us panting and eager to know what's next? We'll have to wait for the next installment to find out. Hi and welcome, Evan. It's quite difficult to judge just a plot. So go for it, write your story, get it edited/ proofread, that's what this board is about, and then you'll know. From what you said, I lack information to know if the character is going to attract my sympathy, if the diaper issue leads to more self-discoveries for the boy (is it a physiological or a psychological problem?), and so on and so on. Give it a try, and we'll go and read your story.

I think this would be some abuse of power. The goats lobby is already quite active and it is only healthy to keep questioning the hooved ones' activities. And offering appropriate recipes for the upcoming BBQ. Being a member will ensure the goats to see their cousins grilled, broiled or baked, not them. Aren't we humane?

Didn't he play the same prank before the webcams were discovered? From Chris' point of view, he's taking it rather well, knowing something's up everytime. I saw these as a humorous way to get some action into the parties, and some playful (though fratboy like) interaction between our two lovers. To me, the beauty of fiction characters is that they can live on after they've gone through peril than their real-life counterparts. They've been threatened to be killed several times, had their privacy invaded and still can have a good laugh about it. And I'm confident they won't need a shrink afterwards. There are also servers for illegal porn sites. If the Piedmont clique learns about them going to Hawaii, no doubt they'll use their local contacts to threaten our heroes' peace and quiet once again.

That's the impression shy, quiet people give.

Amazing set of tales and various "shots" depicting different times for the characters. The descriptions are vivid, the characters acquire flesh as the story unfolds. All your warnings above are nice, but as a reader I got the fact that it wouldn't be a linear narrative quite early on. Trust your writing that readers will make sense out of your story(ies).

Thanks for designing a touching, warm character, a real role-model with Ms. Bridge. She rocks. She's only a substitute, but she decides to make all those unruly kids' lives miserable with the importance of adjectives in speech. She gets hurt in sophomoric pranks, and she comes back the next day with crutches. She's a genuine 21st century heroin. We are as puzzled as the narrator concerning Devin; "He smelled of the wind, of the sea, the sky, of raging beams of sunshine and crushed leaves." Sorry, but I want to know more about someone who smelled of raging beams of sunshine. Very good writing again. Witty & entertaining.
