It depends. Is the author any good? Can he write a credible sex scene? Is the story any good? What is the author's intention with the story? Is the sex relevant to the plot? Are the characters interesting to me? Am I in the right mood? I have read stories where the sex is the story, more or less, both excellent and horrible stories. I have read stories where the sex has enhanced, detracted or had little impact on the story. I have read stories where there was too much or too little sex, or the timing in the story is wrong. I have read stories where the sex was all right, I guess, just totally irrelevant to my preferences. IMHO there can be no hard or fast rules as to sex in a story. But if you go to Nifty, or here, to read stories, you have no right to complain that there is sex in a story... If you don't like a story, or an author, you do however have every right to vote with your feet (or mouse).

Just testing to see if it works... But as someone said on another board: Why don't computers do what we want them to do, instead of what we ask them to do? Anyone who comes up with a quick fix to that one, will get very rich, very fast...

What a queer article. The author is obviously afraid of being different - being different should not be allowed. Now; I don't know the Bible by heart - far from it - but I cannot remember anything in the words of Jesus that says being different is bad; on the contrary, I'd say. So, to me the question is, why did he write this piece? - to prove that being different is being gay, and should be discouraged - to prove he's eloquent - to warn of fundamentalist Christians - to prove that being popular is bad Your guess is as good as mine. Unless you're allergic, a small dose of Aspirin or other acetylsalisylic acid medication can also make the difference between life and death. Note: other kinds of headache tablets, such as paracetamols, do not have that effect. (As far as I'm concerned, paracetamols should be banned, except they're useful in certain situations not directly related to pain. Unfortunately Hotmail still doesn't like the newsletter. - impossible to read Save as txt works, but that kills all links and require extensive reformatting; tried to save as complete webpage (in one file), but got an 'impossible to do' error message. Seems like I must start shopping for a different e-mail - obviously not AOL (not that I'd want to have anything to do with them anyways)

Forloyn has the first 16 chapters at his old site. 17 - 20 is out there somewhere, I can't right say where (I have them, of course). But Kyle is very busy at present, I doubt there will be new chapters of Kandrick or Re-Emergence for a while. He could of course prove me wrong, but he isn't exactly known as a fast writer... 007

Had the same problem as Crazy Goat. The on site version worked fine however, and is now properly saved on my disk. 007

Got big problems reading it, either Hotmail or Norton didn't like it. Haven't tried finding any back doors yet, but I will (the online version might work). Actually I quite like the title Bookworm - it sorta fits me. If I can, I'd like to keep it. Book keeper I don't want to be, yes I know a thing or two about accounting, but haven't done any for ages, and am totally out of touch with rules, regs, laws and Inland Revenue (that's the IRS to Americans). My own tax form is all I ever want to be involved with again, ever, thank you.
