.......Ah yes, Eric apology is acceptable, but the story lags somewhat. The settings of the main characters are already in place. The necessities are now done, it is time for a thriller to take charge of the story line, which I doubt the goat will deprive us of. I highly anticipate a bad mix up at the wedding.
........They insult each other well, they must live together!

Humm!!!, try this Joe, without the mess!
........I too was surprised, it seemed to be tempting enough. Besides it would have awakened poor Eric from his stupor. Actually, I think Chase let him (Eric) off too easy. Eric was contrite enough though, humm....I wonder how long his Tequila absence will last?? Next?? The islands of Scar?
.........Let's see, he shot the sheriff, took the money, left his brother alive cause had he killed them the cops would be on his trail. Fed his brother a bullshit story and said he was sorry, which his brother took hook, line & sinker. Saved the day my ass, he saved himself!!
..........Well my crystal ball says Eric will have lots of problems coming up, the goat has left many traps for him in the upcoming chapters. Resolving this last one will appear to be a minor 'bump in the road'. (Hey MikeL may I borrow this?)
.............cause I did!!
..................I may have missed any implication of Eric's Infatuation with Brandon in the earlier series. In fact I totally missed it I think the goat is trying to tend to his minions in respect to Eric's sexuality. Leading us astray with the the tequila driven episode with his encounter with Brandon, or has he reallly crossed over to the dark side?
..............I know for a fact that certain liquors will have different effects on certain people. I have witnessed where a normal person, who can handle almost all kinds of liquor will get a bit crazy on Tequila. There is nothing civilized about 'real' bikers.
.........There is a way out, the goat always skirts these never ending cliffhangers! I mean it is dark they could break apart before anyone happens upon them, thereby avoiding discovery! Brandon will have to confess to Chase, but with Eric's groveling before his brother and swearing off tequila for forever. Chase will see it as an unlikely misguided adventure concocted with booze and injury. BTW, the title 'Dance with the Devil' me thinks refers to two red eyes that were seen close to the barn, and we all know who those belong to.
...........No, trials and tribulations for the band? Yes, but they have been there and done that before. So I see no end to the band, is CJ too slow in bringing on the element of un-content surprise? Has the villain made his temperance too late? Not surprising since few readers had predicted it to happen ( chokes, thank-you ). So as I see it. the next chapter has to be a real clifhanger with many aspects going on at once. (In otherwords, we need his Shadowyness's influence on this chapter)
........Acckkk! Talk about an awkward situation, I do hope Chase isn't amoungst the 'search party'. Another cliffhanger, from our esteemed King of Cliffhangers!!!!!!!
