Welcome new member, the 'stigma' of newbie is applied to all in the beginning so no worries!! Besides no one actually called you a newbie, it is just attached to your sig, until after a few posts.
Sounds almost like Gandi, this 'day of silence' likened to his International Day of Non-Violence. I don't know of anyone doing the day of silence thing, but I would be interested in finding out if it had any effect.
Humm, a silent Shadowyness, a goat on away to a distant volcano that is full of cliffs! The trip in itself is full of treachery as our resident goat is drinking tequilas plotting his next move. His nemesis is clearly avoiding any confrontation, afterall he has a body in front of his store and a prediction of a large earthquake from the goat to ruin his next move. Plenty of mischief abounds here!!
I got to laugh here, come on don't ya'll think everyone should have taken a class in marriage!! The numbers in divorce shroud the institution itself, Hey, I lucky I've been married for going on 26 years. I have never strayed, and never will, not my nature to do so. Do over? I think if I had done so I would be dead right now from HIV in San Fransisco. There are paths to chose, I chose mine, not sure I traveled the right one or not but I'm still here.
The opportunity each person has for personal growth
The degree of trust each person has in the other.
The number of common interests and activities the partners share
The general affection each partner has for the other
The opportunity each person has for personal growth
I don't know how significant my choices are here, but personal growth seemed to be a factor, plus trust, common interests and affection. It has worked for going on 26 years so I guess it has merit.
Haha! Yes, his Shadowyness rides a dark motorcycle, weaving in and out of plots, spreading his cliffhanging skills to all to observe. He awaits to strike at unsuspecting goats, trying to achieve a higher status in the cliffs. His characters wait to be awaken and come forth in his diabolical twist of fate, as we stand stunned at the body left at the bakery, which holds in its chambers the goats head.
It has never been a bed of rose's, there have been many arguments and fights, (not physical) there has been many instances of yearning for more, but the end of the day it is just us. And I couldn't ask for more.
The General has many tricks left up his sleeve and Felicia knows it, so she has backed off for now. I wonder if the Generals message before Felicia's drawn gun was for a pick-up point for them to parachute out. The grenade could keep the mercenaries at bay, knowing that they could all die if it is exploded on board. Great chapter CJ!! Have a great vacation!!
