Oof, they don't go for half measures, do they? The Silver Hand clearly want to make anyone scared to have anything to do with Werewolves. An unfortunately potentially effective tactic, even if the bomb didn't go off.

With the possible exception of Vauxhall, not even Brits drive British cars. German makes or Ford are the most popular by far - and it's mainly down to the reasons described above! Seriously, can't beat the Germans for reliability... wait, how did we get here?! Loving the story. Have to say, my suspicions for the identity of the ne'erdowells are definitely falling in the direction of Dylan's mother's family...

It had been just over an hour when the key turning in the lock woke them. Hawke's behaviour is a touch more understandable now, she probably knew she was in trouble for losing the ship. Did she engineer the capture of Elias just to bust the illegal slavers and get ahead of it...?

Poor Elias - the way he took charge has to reflect how he himself has been treated. And even after that he doesn't find any enjoyment in the role of master; a strong sign of character, lacking any desire to inflict what he has suffered on others.

I don’t want to do this anymore, any of it. Why can’t I be a normal kit? He's making progress, painful as it is. It's been "I'm not a kit" all the way up 'til now - I think this was a pretty important step towards accepting himself.
