  1. Yeah, right? I thought I would see Drew as a shady hot blond but "urghhhhh", I hate him even being present in a chapter! I like Maddox better, a few billion times more. 😤
  2. At the beginning of this chapter, I thought I'd end up depressed, once more. But nooooh! I'm fully and outrageously charged for next week. I can feel the new savage Jonathan in the air. The people in Hamilton manor have no idea what Jonathan has lost so far. A lesson for those assholes are on it's way. Push a quiet, peaceful person's back to the wall and be prepared for a fierce blast that will burn down the cage you call castle. Then there are others. Maddox, a lover of the best kind and you threatened his lover's dignity with fabricated lies! You tried to pull apart the bff Maddox and Rusty. You planned to takeaway Ray's bestie from him. I mean Xpress or whoever there are in this nasty game, know this, you were the one to lit the match for the wildfire that follows. Your dusty grey ashes deserve the coming wrath. Now let us burn those f##kers down...

    No Escape

See this @Laura S. Fox see this! I'm not alone, I've got company!! 😁

    No Escape

I hope you're right. It's just that I want them to clear out a little air first; to share a few things trapped in their minds for so long.

    No Escape

I hope the night in bed will be tender rather than wild. Whether or not Jonathan leaves in the morning, I want M & J to have a long-long conversation more than them having the 'pleasure of flesh'.

    No Escape

One more "up" chapter like this and I may have to consult a therapist.

    No Escape

Again, another chapter that makes me want to praise more and more of your brilliant writing style, @Laura S. Fox. The simple ways of yours to make your readers imagination to be on point! Just look at these lines, "He was only a little short of plucking daisies and playing ‘he loves me, he loves me not’." How little effort one needs to explain so much of actions and emotions. The spot on active humors such as, "Rusty took advantage that Kane seemed already absorbed by his textbooks and started making faces. A crumpled piece of paper hit him in the face. Apparently, he had missed that Dex was looking straight at him." The way you depicted a joint family's rush-rush movements, the unity among diverse personalities and the unspoken coordination amongst its members; just bravo. Through out the chapter, it pained a lot reading Jonathan's constant dilemma for his every other action. It may seem that Jonathan is being a complete imbecile at the moment, but anyone of us who has been through bully and harassment in their school years for being a little different, will surely sympathies with him. It's equally hard being young and confused as being old and responsible and ashamed. In the past chapters I hated Connor to my guts, so I'll need more fair actions from him in order for me to forgive him. Jonathan in 'No Escape' is a poignant reminder of my past choices and so I'll refrain myself from making any predictions and rather enjoy the journey Laura has decided for us. I trust in the author to give us a happy ending.
  9. I actually agree with you. It's only because of Meg and her awful father and Salander's awesome writing that I'm somehow okay-ish with the poster scandal, lol!
  10. TRIGGER WARNING! Anus, I'm planing a brutal murder for you. And oh, Jake, you messed up a little but that was probably good for Elie. It's high time she realizes her potential in field of law and start living under brighter lights. She will surely forgive Jake if he apologizes. And don't worry too much about Nic, he has received your message. Thing will work out soon. Thanks, @Salander for this twisty-fun chapter. Now focus on your exams and give it your best shot. I'm sure you'll perform much better than Elie or Meg. P.S. Thanks for updating about your 'Stranger-Thing Season4' approach with this story, lol.
  11. The good thing about a lawsuit is that you may get the justice you deserve. Sadly on the flip-side, even if you win a sexual harassment case, the agony is excruciating and lifelong. You lose so much in the battle that almost nothing of you remains to sense the victory.
  12. It's an unacceptable yet an undeniable reality. So often the victims start hating their own skins. The society starts seeing you as a person with a dark secret when you only fall prey for someone's ill intention and evil action. In the end, the victims get to carry a double baggage of both "the secret" and "the shame." 😢
  13. and disgusting!
  14. Exactly, Jonathan now can take legal actions with that assaulting and threatening text as a proof. Now it's not a gossip anymore but real crime.
  15. I hope, I really hope it's not Hanna 😭
  16. Let's rage
  17. Please don't ruin Hanna for me 😭
  18. RAY, the sunniest man of Sunny Hills, Mama Kingsley, I misunderstood you and pardon my language 'cause I too fucked up. And... And now, it's time for my stupid predictions. It's not Connor, no. He isn't the mastermind but it's either Jonathan's father or Drew! And @Laura S. Fox Can't wait for the high voltage letters! 🤩
  19. Read Boyfriend Material about two years ago and it was my second or third gay novel that I read (I think after Call Me By Your Name or Read White & Royal Blue). What I remember from the book now is a lot of cold feet moments from both the protagonists, Luc's funny-flawed yet strong mother and shit of a dad, Luc's star kid trauma, Oliver's disgusting family and the last two chapters where the Luc & company went on hunting Oliver. And for some weird reason I distinctly remember that in the last chapter when Oliver came to Luc's place and kept ringing the doorbell, Luc warned him saying, "there's an angry lesbian sleeping!" 😂 I also picked up Alexis Hall's For Real but yet to read it out.
  20. Yes, I think you're right. Sasaki To Miyano doesn't follow the like-it-or-not-you-are-mine structure or simply the toxic masculine story arch. For this reason, the first few episodes seemed a bit slow paced until I realized that all it lacked was an actively aggressive-lover protagonist! If you find it, don't forget to share with us 🤩
  21. Happy Birthday in advance @Wesley8890 Wish you a happy and healthy life ahead + a super romantic lifelong lover too.
  22. Agreed, Jonathan wouldn't ask for help in the first place. But the Xpress desperately needs to be taught a good lesson too!
  23. Interesting! Will check it out next, for sure. Watched Sasaki To Miyano anime series after you reviewed it. That story isn't something what you call fresh, but their cinematic approach is definitely very refreshing; especially the voice dubs and the back ground music. Damn, the sound and mixing department did a hell of a job there! Loved those sunny afternoon shots with piano going on in the background. And something that Anime series (or movies) are master at is, undoubtedly, the use of pause. Not very sure, but I think they call it Miyazaki's Ma. Looking very forward to your next review.
