agreed! on all counts! I'm genuinely pissed at the BBC because I mean... as a British citizen I/my household pay a tv license.. the proceeds of which effectively fund the Beeb! now I'm all for it! I love the idea of the BBC and its history... what I dontlove is the fact they're not catering to teh publics opinion. I dont just mean with TW - but theyre cutting good shows left right and centre - apparently the "credit crunch" Stupid name for a stupid concept/situation... that I atthe age of 15 decided had to happen sooner or later - idiots for not being more prepared. I did enjoy the episodes, I was just devastated with Iantos death and the sheer bleakness of the whole situation/especially the almost holocaustic cabinet made me feel a bit unsettled. BUT it was in a good sort of question the gvment sorta way. so yeah it was overall good... just bring the tea boy back and I totally agree with the Jack thing, I mean can yoube honourable and good, but kind all the time? i don't think so some how

I'm not normally one to notice anti-gay or homophobic slurs, because in all honesty it annoys me when everyone jumps on the band wagon. I feeel that when theres a huge uproar due to one thing said, maybe slightly out of PC standards, especially if its meant to be jovial, then it does nothing but hinder acceptance. As nothing is more off putting than a bunch of screaming LGBT shouting "accept us!" (and to think I was my university's GRO) Now don't get me wrong I dont think homophobia is right! and infact just today I was quite shocked @ the contents of one newspaper page, which taking into context what I wrote above is a shocker. reading the daily star (what should i have expected i know) but yeah on the soap/tv page a review of torchwood stated "and really, ianto's death? it was obvious, 456 always beats two queens" Now i was annoyed because the two characters were anything but queens, and torchwood is still a sensetive subject More seriously though i hate the word queen, and i guess i could have gotten over it if that line was the only one, but then just a paragraph away the line "and why are soap's gays always so buff? why dont they potray someone like chris biggins." It felt liek the dick was just attacking gay guys... I blame it on RTD and torchwood leaving me overly sensitive...normally i wouldn't be so annoyed,.. but yeah I'm sticking to the independant from now on.

I'm still devastated by a certain tea boys departure... seriously they can't renew the series without bringing him back! and if they decided to ditch gwen and have a whole new team... well it just wouldnt be the same... i mean they might aswell call it something different... a hell of a lot of emotion was invested in the current characters and I mean... who in their right minds kills off three of their main characters in as little as 4 episodes?!?!? is RTD on crack? i think he must be! <3 Ianto

What the actual fanny at that ending?!?! I'm really rather annoyed at the beeb for that, it's ruined the series by killing off 3 of the main characters. Sadly my weekend's already over I'm working later tonight and all day tommorrow, and today I'm vegging out, because I'm rough from las night. Last night however was AWESOME! on so many levels, had a house party, and we managed to get hold of a champagne fountain which i filled with my special cocktail recipe of just about anytype of liquor Icould get my hands on. Add to the mix, strobe lights, lasers, a smoke machine, a BANGING sound system, neon paint and glow sticks! plus my neighbour was away! I watched a lot of horror movies as a kid - It and the shinning at the age of three was horrific. I refused to bathe for a month and would run away from the toilet flush everytime lol. Childs play really messed with my head as well... because a few weeks after watching it, my mum had left her china doll at the top of the stairs one night, forgetting to bring it down, and as i went up the stairs and it came into view i thought i was going to be slaughtered. not to mention it was later moved to outside my mums room that night and I saw it on the way to the bathroom *shudders* Not many movies scare me now, I think I'm a bit desensitised BUT when I watched hostel and the guy used the drill on one of the dudes I felt physically sick.

I can never decide whether i dislike exams or coursework/portfolios more... my course is meant to be entirely coursework assessed... yet I'm sitting an exam on monday which involves me having to write up 6 essay questions and learn them - then the exam is based on any two of hte six... it sucks e.g. write an essay about phenylketonuria - (because thats just full of guidance LOL) good luck with the portfolio man!
