Ditto to everything @Summerabbacat said. "My five cats" also aren't really mine, especially #5 who did her best to avoid being adopted 3 times until I realized I was the one she wanted to adopt. Here's another comment. I have 5 cats, love dogs, would love to have the opportunity to work in a zoo with all the different animals (except alligators), but I've never been close to a cow, a hog, or a chicken. 🥰 -

I've never known a vegan, so the interchange between Biff and Summerabbacat has been educational. I will not, however, ever be a vegan. 😊I love my meat! -
I wonder if it is our age, but I can really relate to the way Biff is putting love before sex, even though, as I said before, and as summerabbacat mentioned, Marcus seems mature beyond his years. Be that as it may, I am loving this story.

Hey Biff. I got your personal but couldn't respond right away. Now I can't find it. Would love to chat if you can start again. I definitely need some edumacation (a reference to Popeye, I think). Now I'm off to read chapter 4. BTW@, mu cousin Spencer and I used to go skinny dipping in various ponds on his family's farm all the way to my 1st year in college. No sex, just fun.

Just wanted to say that I find Comicality's stories very uplifting, but yours breathe a new life into an old man's heart. Unfortunately, you may well be right, but by then we will be dead and it won't matter to us. One of the blessings of being our age. I feel sorry for y grandchildren (in their 20's and voting socialist), but what can we do? OMG! You're older than me? Mayb we should chat. ☺️

I agree with J.El, totally. On a more personal note, in romantic stories such s this one, I prefer the word penis to the more vulgar words like dick and cock. It just seems more intimate. But that's just me. What makes me sad is Tyler's mom. Realistic, but sad.

Has any other reader listened to this story? I don't know how it happened, but once I started to listen, I couldn't stop crying. There is a difference between listening and reading. If you haven't tried it already, you should.

I loved snakes but never had one. I also never had an opportunity to find out what this kind of relationship with a boy would be like. I'm happy for Drew and Luke but having trouble keeping in mind that this is fiction. -
I was going to wait until the last published chapter to leave a comment, because, after all, who is going to read this one? But what the hell, as an incurable romantic full of unrequited love, how can I wait any longer? I am thoroughly enjoying this story and the slow development of love between two boys this age. Why is it so different from the love I felt for my wife (female)?

Sorry to say, but 30 years ago I would have reacted like Tyler's mom. Then I somehow started reading stories like this on Nifty Archives, and my attitude and interests changed drastically. Four years ago, I finally realized/found out/ admitted to myself that I am bisexual. A grateful heart goes out to writers like Arch Hunter who provide as much romance, if not more, as sex. I truly hope Tyler is able to withstand his mother's angst and follow his heart.

Biff Spork, I enjoyed Chapter 1 and look forward to more, but at 77 years of age, I just can't seem to get excited about climate change. i did have solar panels put on my roof last month, but beyond that, I'm relying on your age group and culture.

I grew up in the 50s and 60s. I grew up straight, because that was the only option. Now I sit at a lunch table at church and hear the kids this age talk about their gay and lesbian friends as just that, friends. Thanks to authors like Comicality, Dabeagle, and BillW, I can my teenage years vicariously through their characters.
