    Chapter 10

Sawyer is a self-indulgent jerk and Marc is a closet freak. They both have issues they will have to work on together. But I have faith in Libby.

    Chapter 4

A sprained ankle was the least serious of Wayne's injuries, along with various scratches, abrasions and contusions. I guess his most serious injury also served as an awakening for me. On his twelfth birthday (I had just turned fourteen), several of the guys he had invited were out beside the house fooling around in an old cherry tree that hung out over the driveway. Wayne was lying on his back on a branch about eight feet above the ground yelling. "Hey guys! Look at me! Dare any of yo

    Chapter 2

Nope. Just a private woman who didn't want their affair to interfere with his marriage, I guess. There really was a very attractive single lady (who had a son) at work to whom I admitted an inappropriate attraction. She quit and moved away. We never had sexual relations. If you keep reading like this, you're going to catch up to my postings. Chapter 4 is pending and will post in an hour or two. Then it's going to be day-by-day. I certainly appreciate your interest and feedback.

Thank you, @wizard. So do I.

    Chapter 1

It's only chapter 1, @weinerdog. The boys aren't in love yet. Give it some time. 😉 But thanks for reading so quickly.

    Chapter 4

Being a 77-year-old American male, I can attest to the truth of what @Will Hawkins just said. We are such an oppressed society when it comes to our bodies. After 200 years, one would think we could have progressed further. Personally, I find Jimmie's attitude and comments intolerable, and I consider myself a late blooming bisexual.

    Chapter 4

Just had to interrupt my reading to comment on this line: “Oh, Dear,” exclaimed my mother to me. “I think I upset her.” She then asked, “You don’t think that Tracy is really gay, do you?” I would have laughed myself silly if Jack had had the courage to say, "Well, I am! Why shouldn't he be?" Then he could have walked across the street and asked Mrs. Craig if he could move in with them.

    Chapter 2

OMG! Not having gaydar myself, I guess it isn't prevalent at that age. I'm loving this story. Brings back some memories, not all of them good.

    Chapter 1

    I can relate.

    Chapter 1

Obviously, I am late to this story and have already told Ronyx in a dm that we share(d) the same goals in our writing. But after a 22-year hiatus, I wasn't sure I could write another one of any interest. Having read one other of Ronyx's stories, and now this chapter, I don't have to worry about that anymore. Ronyx said in this chapter everything that I ever had to say. So now, I'm just going to enjoy my retirement. After all, Ronyx has 36 stories I haven't read yet, and will probably post another one before I get through these. 🥰 I am a semi-retired accountant with about 100 tax clients. Readers familiar with Alonon and Narconon have probably heard of the 12 Step Program. My life embraces a 3 Step Program: Step One, sleep til noon; Step Two, work til 6; Step Three, read and drink til midnight; repeat. Ronyx is currently firmly ensconced in Step Three. 🤪🤪🤪

    Chapter 14

OMG! I am so slow. Is this really the final chapter? I may have to start at the beginning and read them all again, I enjoyed it so much.

    Chapter 14

It's great to see, although not a surprise at all, that all of the "reactions" to this chapter are the LOVE symbol. It's been 56 years since my wife first met and feel in love, but I don't remember this type of emotional interaction. Maybe it's because for me, sex was always about the physical. It took me 46 years to learn that for my wife, it was always about the emotional, rather than the physical. Maybe this is why my own stories are so heavily laden with emotions. I'd like to think so. Thanks for letting me share. Taking off the mask takes time. 🥰 And thanx, Ronyx, for writing such a wonderful and touching story.

    Chapter 14

“Something’s different about you,” she said. “I can’t put my finger on it. Wait! I know! You’re in love. Look at you. You’ve got it bad!” “Shut up, Jackie,” I said embarrassedly. She grinned and studied me some more. “You and Dion had sex last night!” she shrieked excitedly. Ronyx could have written my story, "The Root Beer Boys." I'm glad to see I'm not alone.

    Chapter 3

Suffice it to say that dad does eventually have a "Come to Jesus" moment.

    Chapter 3

Unfortunately I am a bit of a narcissist, so mom rarely enters the picture.

    Chapter 3

The next several weeks were different. I mean, mom had to get used to having a son whose father was my dad but whose mother was a lady dad had an affair with. Then Wayne had to get used to having a new mom. It seemed easier for him than I thought it would be, almost like he hadn't liked his real mom very much. He sure seemed to like all the attention my mom poured out on him anyway. My dad was in stink city. It was obvious, sometimes, that he was making a real effort to show me that Wayne wasn't

    Chapter 9

When I was a Junior in college, there was a time when I was sure I had disappointed my dad. Upon sharing the issue(s) with him, he said, "Dan, I have always been harder on you than Bob because I saw so much of myself in you." I missed a golden opportunity to tell him that all I had ever wanted was to be like him. As I said in "What Is True Love Anyway?" he sometimes expressed his negative attitude towards Catholics (even though he and Mom frequently played canasta with the Catholic couple across the street), he never said a bad thing about homosexuals. I'd like to believe I have grown up with some of his best qualities and very few of his worst.

    Chapter 9

For someone who appears to be non-believer (but my perception may be faulty), you certainly are not unfamiliar with scripture. It seems, however, that you might be stuck in the Old Testament, which I personally view as little more than a history of how God dealt with a populace still in its infancy as human beings. My own faith is based on grace, not law, forgiveness and love, not condemnation. I agree with you as to people who "cheery pick" scriptures to hide behind, but my angst is directed to those who use Paul's words in the New Testament and ignore the words of Jesus. Paul preached against homosexuality and fornication in the same verse. But many people ignore the fornication part. And Jesus, who had nothing to say about either of those issues said to divorce and remarry was to commit adultery. But most people who profess to be Christians treat those words as though they no longer apply. So endeth the lesson for today. 😇

    Chapter 8

@flesco, I noticed you just "reacted" to chapter 8 with the Angry emoticon. I would have understand that reaction to chapters 6 & 7, but I'm a buit surprised at this chapter. Would you care to expound on that? I'm certainly not offended; just confused.

    Chapter 9

First, Finn lost head for a moment and said something nice. That doesn't mean he isn't still an ass! Second, I have less patience than my dad did, and he didn't have any! Marc's untold history, and his unwillingness, or inability, to move forward is really starting to weigh me down. That's not a complaint; just my way of saying I'm looking forward to the chapter where he and Sawyer are both able to deal with their pasts, and each other's and become the boyfriends they are obviously meant to be.

    Chapter 8

Just read this chapter again. Guess I was RWI the first time. If I had written this story, Finn would be eating his own dick by now without having to bend over.

    Chapter 2

As soon as dad and Wayne stopped crying and hugging, mom moved in and the three of them hugged a little. I think she was trying to show Wayne that he was welcome but realized that his real mother had only died a few months ago. After their hug, mom went over and spoke to the social worker. Wayne gave me a look that was shy, and I think a little fearful. I just went up to him and took his suitcase. "Come on in, Wayne. I'm Andy. I'll show you where our room is." "You mean you're going to
  25. OK. So I am officially envious. 103 "reactions" to my 20. But no wonder. Your literary talents far surpass my own. I look forward to following this story.
