Love this! The first chapter was captivating and I didn’t realize this was the Seamus and Matt in JayLoe story until Jay’s name was mentioned. Silly of me. I haven’t look at the dates but I supposed this was written after Jay’s? If yes am glad I read Jay’s first. Was a lil surprised the epilogue ended with Jay and Loren’s line. It feels like this is the third book of Jay’s in a way but am not complaining. I wasn’t paying much attention on Matt in Jay’s but here I love and missed the banter between him and Jay.

The thought of Pete and Mike ended up together just came to mind lol Pete with the experience and maturity will be a good foundation for Mike who has finally comes to terms with himself. And they’re both gentlemen. Corbin has fought hard for these two but it was only a game for him. He’d craves for more drama. That spells a disaster for any relationship. He’s better off with Nick who understands him the most.

That was worth the wait, thanks. I still have doubts with Hutch. If he’s part of the seven then he truly is a fake. But maybe that didn’t matter for he knew what was the outcome be like only to be outsmarted by Corbin. I do hope his class didn’t vote against him, if truly they’re best friends. Dom needs to step down though. That’s the end of Dom (and Hutch maybe). I get why Corbin believed he had won the fight with Mike and Pete is the war spoils. However he should really let go of Mike after hurting him like that. Mike died in that war. But knowing Corbin probably that’s not possible lol Heck if Pete was on the stand he would do the same. I don’t think Corbin deserves the two unless if he’s willing to settle down and quit playing games to avoid hurting more people like he did with Nick.

This has not been an easy read for a while now coz I feel for Charlie.

I like this better than JayLoe and I loved both of them. It was kinda slow read in the beginning of the chapter but glad I carried on reading, it was worth it. I just wished I can finished them on time for the vote for this is totally the winner for me.

Hutch is his best friend. I don’t understand why he sides with Dom when Corbin can help him achieving whatever goals he has in mind way better than Dom if not at par. Is he a fake?

‘majority shareholder’ lol What a chapter to start with. The dramatic Loren/Danny and the hopeless romantic Jay/Sandy. It helps to imagine Loren as Danny.

So true, JayLoe surprises me every time, never got bored with them, each and every chapter. Their conversations were to look for, brilliant, funny, sad and brutal at times, fresh and beautifully written. I can’t wait to read the next book? I need to reread some of my fav moments including the sex part lol. Lars, Seamus, Courtney and Loe’s best friends are my favourites beside those two. The ‘why’ is yet to be answered by Loe’s parents? And parent’s favouritism is no stranger to me and I can relate with Taylor and Derek, which made the story even more entertaining to read. This is the best romance I’ve read so far. It didn’t make me feel guilty reading them at all. Well maybe a lil on the no sex before marriage thing hehe. Thank you again!

He was kinda girly despite the descriptions, I was having difficulties to reconcile the two images in my mind until this chapter. When he was on top of Jay, that probably helped a bit lol (that was a hot scene btw) I couldn’t believe Jay actually insisted on no sex before marriage. That was torture, ridiculous but funny as hell lmao

I was saving meself from commenting until I finished the book but I can’t help with this chapter. Reading, well as if watching Loe proposing was a beautiful sight I saw a new Loe, manly, a fine husband to be. I find myself respecting his character even more. This is my fav chapter so far. Thank you for writing such a beautiful story.

I wasn’t expecting there’s book 2 and 3. If anyone wants to read them it’s probably those who wanted the relationship to really worked out and there are those who thinks book 1 (epilogue) is suffice to point that out. I’m with the latter. The only thing I appreciate on book 2 (only read upto few chapters ahead a think and skipped book 3 almost entirely only to scan through on the last chapter) was the first chapter where Mike shared about how much Matt had hurt him. And even then felt frustrated that the author decided to force the relationship as it is. There’s no beauty in that.

On a lighter note I really enjoyed Matt’s jokes. He reminds me of Zach Attack lol Uga Buga!

This was recommended in the recent email. It was a fun read but the ending is quite disappointing. It basically killed both characters twice. Like a double jeopardy, chap 12 and the epilogue

Ooh that was intense. David’s scene was barely bearable and then there’s Mike. What a way to end a relationship for the sake of fighting, survival. As hard as it may seem, Corbin had it ‘easy’ almost as if it was freely presented to him. I can’t read Hutch though, surely there’s more to it. I normally save my comments after stories are completed. I want to be able to decide who deserves it more, Mike or Pete although the title The English Year is obvious enough. It feels like Pete is way ahead already.
