“..a cockkisser” lmao I wasn’t sure about Rusty at first esp when he tied poor Jonathan on that tree but I love this fella as the story goes. Wasn’t there a book going on about him? Chasing after Rusty Parker or something?
-
At first I didn’t get why Calvert received so much hatred by your readers but if there’s any reason to dislike him, this will be it. Poor Gatling though
-
Dang! That’s like meeting the father in law lol I still miss Travers a lot.
-
Oh my that was intense, one of the best battle scenes if not the best.
-
That was not a pleasant read. It made me feel bad about Travers and unsure about the whole book itself. He wasn’t that disturbed when George was demanding answers from him back then. I’ve always rooted for Travers and am not sure of that anymore. George is being George. I don’t really see him any different than Carmody, Jardines, Arthur.
-
Finally Floreal is down. I was hoping Aurore magically appeared for the support haha Is that the end of the Wilcox clan? Lol
-
Why do I get the feeling Merrick did just that to get Robert’s attention? Lol
-
Well I hope Travers will finish the job on Floreal. Well done Winkler! Hehe
-
Glad Preston took the initiative to apologize. He was a good leader back in Barracuda time. I was actually surprised with his attitude. Surprised even that George was thinking of reporting Preston. “You would do that?”
-
I’m glad Intrepid is in the safe hands of Calvert. Love that ship.
-
George learned fast, good for him

I don’t think honor was really behind George’s decision against what Jervis was ‘proposing’. To lie for the nincompoop is the last thing he’d do. I commend him for speaking on behalf of Fizwilliam though (I still think he did that for himself lol). That was almost if not a ‘threat’ to Jervis. Very daring of him hehe I question his love for Caroline, he should be too. His love for Calvert seems to cloud his judgement on his marriage and perhaps his love for Travers is shaken as well. Really if Calvert dies am afraid he has no one to blame but himself.
-
Now Caroline is a curious thing. How did she pulls her strings? Was it the Prince’s wife? Arthur/Jardines? She seems to be aware of Travers on their first meet as well and was ok with it and having another by the name of Calvert is just unacceptable. I don’t see her as a jealous type but maybe the way Calvert was brought to her, unannounced just hit all the wrong buttons. George’s reaction was surprising, probably because of guilt, he didn’t seem to be that all ‘angry’. Wonder how Calvert will react once he knew what transpired his transfers.
-
Yeah was a bit confused with Cavendish for a while there. It’s nice to have a violin tunes during the journey though Wonder if Caroline was behind Calvert’s transfer lol Jardine’s appearance was a suspect no?
-
This is a great chapter, the book/s has been great in fact. The actions, adventures packed and the sex was very entertaining I couldn’t stop reading, wanting to finish all of them. So George unfortunately experienced the loss of a son, that was a side of him that made me appreciate the character more, respecting the sea slut lol He was surprised Calvert wasn’t jealous of Caroline unlike Travers. I thought that was a hint, a point for Travers. And then his burst on wanting to thank Arthur lol George should realise by now that sooner he needs to let go of Calvert. That all he is now is just a stumbling block to what Calvert could potentially be. He already has a wife, he doesn’t need another. But yeah George is one lucky slut lol

Bertie the middle child sigh A toast for the good doctor!
-
For some reasons Bertie reminds me of Carmody. And with this dirty politics suddenly the Wilcox doesn’t seem to be that bad at all, well they aren’t actually just pain in the ass mostly lol
-
I kinda miss Fellowes. Nice reunion there lol
-
Yeah a thought I was ready for it. If it was TC instead of David, probably a little easier for me. It feels like David was doing it more for his friend who’s still grieving apparently. A thought TC being submissive would serve the same purpose. The fact they’re friends made it even more uncomfortable a think.
-
Ok I must say this was a hard read lol Not sure if I can continue reading
-
Well written chapter. It was surprisingly neat and smooth. Always appreciate a good start. Looking forward to finish the book
-
Yeah I thought the same but maybe more like the story would be interesting with such plot twist and wouldn’t the Great Mother knew about it? I see no reason why she’s not telling

Can’t wait to know how’s Mike doing. It actually made me feel a little less of Corbin. Self serving? No he did even worse than that. Mike will survive though, I just know he will. Pete would definitely. It’ll hurt but it won’t as much as what Mike is going through. While Pete is way ahead, Mike was behind him, finally making that big leap only to fall down hard. I’m not sure if Pete and Corbin will last long though. Reading a ‘surprised’ Corbin about how experienced Pete on bed, looked like a red flag to me. As if he was disappointed, intimidated or something, dunno. Pete might as well be way ahead of his game and Corbin doesn’t even realised how lucky he is.
-
Homophobia was mentioned, perhaps there’s some truths in it but certainly not the reason why people are against any major decisions taken by Corbin. I hope the story won’t divert to that path. I don’t see Corbin as someone who wants the leadership role as a head of anything though, not in this ‘hyper masculine’ environment and if not mistaken he ‘loathes’ the responsibilities that comes with it? lol.

The author has become one of my favourites in here. Boss Nanny is how any romance should be. It’s simple yet rich and colourful, throw in a bit of drama and suspense and lots of catchy phrases, humor wrapped in on spot dialogues fit for dramas/movies. And the author delivered exactly that and even better.
