I love it too. I held back the last few chapters to like dilute the humor.

Maybe you should try tea leaves? You'd at least have something to drink afterwards. Lol

I don't recall saying Diego was ever a drunk or junky, but I could be wrong. As for your theory about Calvin setting Diego up, we'll have to wait and see....
-
I'd like to think that Mr. Marx doesn't go through people's phones, but I have no doubt it happens in real life.

Calvin is pretty lame in the story and in real life, but we'll have to wait a bit longer to see what his motivations really are.

Bryan stood in the parking lot feeling rather impatient. He fidgeted so much Terra asked him a few times if he needed to pee. “See you on Monday,” Kris Wilks called out to Bryan, as Kris and his friends walked towards the bus area. “Yeah, see ya,” Bryan replied. “Now, Kris is talking to you?” Terra asked with a skeptic yet shocked look. “What the fuck is up with today?” “I don't know,” Bryan said, also stunned. “That's like, what, half of our class that's been way too fr

Yes, that's them, and they're not as prolific since their founder died. And you'll have to keep reading to see what Calvin really wants.
-
Yeah, the exchange between Bryan and Calvin was very satisfying to write.

Yes, I know this password for certain, plus I have other means of gaining access this time.

What a bloody nightmare! I don't know where to begin! How about my stupidity for failing to remember passwords? No, I think I'll be railing on that for too long, so how about giving credit where credit is due: Cia. They have been amazing throughout this whole process. They've been very patient, understanding and helpful in ways have made this transition possible. The second I realized that I only had access via my phone, I contacted them with the problem. Not only did I forget the password to my email, I had failed to set up a backup or any security access to the account. I know! That's very stupid, especially for someone who is fully aware that they can't remember passwords. However, given that my GA account was created comparatively recent, I was certain I knew the password; I didn't, apparently. So, I wasn't able to change the email accounts because (for good reason) you need to enter your password to change it. I think you can see where this is going. For anyone who has followed me from the beginning, you know I struggled to understand certain policies and procedures that made no sense to me. Behind the scenes, that struggle became a brief conflict with Cia through emails. The conflict was brief, and ultimately unnecessary. The details are not necessary, but I will say that I wasn't the nicest guy for my part in the issue. With that said, despite said conflict, Cia went above and beyond this week! A true legend! They were able to handle my problem--I can't say "with ease," since I have no idea how any of it works--with kindness and professional-grade care. My new email is now attacked to my old account, so I can get back to submitting chapters and blogs, without having to start all over again, which I was prepared to do. I made a promise that I would not spam my thanks to Cia, but if you're reading this and like the story, perhaps sent them (and the rest of the staff) a quick thank you for all their hard work and effort, I'm sure they'd appreciate it. As for myself, I just have edit the next chapter of the Thicker Than Water. The next blog will be the continuation of the series. To quote Michael Sheen, "We're back, Baby!"...maybe a little less angry. See you in the next one. John.

Agreed, but I think they're both lacking in emathy, trying to get their needs met.

I loves me some meta humor. Lol

That's a good theory for sure, but his motives are yet to come.

Thank you, and those almost always words to regret.

Difficulties in Life (Personal Update)
John Henry commented on John Henry's blog entry in Thicker Than Water
Thank you. I really appreciate it. I'm hoping I can work with the admins and get this sorted. Passwords are the bane of my existence. -
I lost almost everything. My computer crashed, wiping almost everything to the point, I lost my old email address, which I can't access because I don't remember the password and never established a backup account. I feel stupid and it's triggering a lot of emotions. Luckily, I have most things save to external drives, but it's the lack of access to accounts that's a problem, as I am not good at remembering passwords. As such, I will be trying to switch accounts on here, but that could take a bit of doing, which means a delay in the story. Again, I feel like shit for not having the forethought to have circumvented this. But, I will recover and move on. Hopefully, we can keep this going in the meantime. See you in the next one, John

Thank you for the confidence, and I hope I don't disappoint. Bullying is a huge concern, in and out of school, so keep on reading to see what happens.

Teenagers rarely know what they really want and still have that child-like expectations about the world needing to make sense to their standards. Bryan and Kenny are no different.
-
Diego doesn't find spanking or anything like it agreeable or effective; however, hard, physical labor was something he was raised with and has passed onto his kids.

I should've put a trigger warning on his chapter, apparently.... 😂 If you pay close attention to the dialogue, the receptionist was very polite and friendly, until Diego crossed the line with his attitude, which he got thrown back at him. She even said that she was unaware of the situation until during the lunch hour, so she couldn't have told Diego. Now, she could've been genuine about the whole affair, in which case, Diego was being an asshole, or she could've been lying to fuck with him because of what happened last time he was there, in which case, you're correct about the whole event. I, for now, will leave that up to you. As far as Diego's judgment, you assessment is part of his internal dialogue as expressed in the narrative. He knows he's making bad decisions because of everything going on, which is why he asked for the lawyer's number. Nice observations. 😁

I think that might have been Up In Smoke, but I haven't seen it in decades. I watched a comedian yesterday who talked about how Spanish was his first language, took Spanish in high school and only got a C+. When his friend called him out on his, the guy was like, "Really, then why are you failing English is English is your first language?" This bit of the story is based on my wanting to take Spanish in school but didn't, since I have a rather racist relative from Spain, who would've been super annoying if I was taught any other dialect than the one he knew, so I never learned it. I imagined that Bryan would have similar conversations about pronunciation with his teacher the way I would've had with my relative, minus the racist part.

Caleb isn't incontinent. He wets the bed when he's really upset or stressed, which is rare. He wouldn't have an accident at school or at any other time outside of sleeping, as far as the diaper goes, it isn't worth the expense, especially since he's growing. And just to clarify the record, Bryan and Calvin have the same dad. I was trying to imply that they each have their parents eyes, but good observation.

I've seen all kinds of teachers growing up. I've had a few bullies, and even one that physically assaulted a student just for raising her hand (none were punished), and I've had some that stood up for others and would even break up fights. It comes down to the character of the person. Teachers, especially in America, are vastly under paid, while being giving unrealistic expectations by administrators and parents. And today, when you add mass shootings, it makes those decisions even more difficult. This story may touch on some of those issues, but it won't go to extremes to make the points; this isn't a queer version of 13 Reasons Why.

I'm glad you found my story and that you like it. The site does seem to favor those who post a lot verses highlighting new stories and authors. Either way, I hope you stick with my story.

Some pretty good observations. Answers may come sooner than later.
