Sunday October 16 We'll mind-meld with Rod for this chapter. My mom comes to visit the next day, but I'm ready to be discharged. She calls the school and speaks with the Dean. Fortunately, he has decided that circumstances drove me to make my decision. I may come back to school but will be on probation for the rest of the school year. Mom repeats this to me. Another great chapter. Guess I missed a couple typos. Probably didn’t read through this one twice. It’s so hard to comment on the early chapters when you know what’s coming. But editing for Jason was enjoyable, so I’ll suffer with adding lame comments 😇- 36 comments

I’ll drink to that. Oh, wait… Not really touched on again. Aunt Carmela lives in south Georgia, town undisclosed. Same lawyer won’t be reasonable. We’ll just assume they took full advantage. He has ongoing sessions with Dr. Paulson. Again, not touched on, but we’ll wait and see how things turn out for him. Hmmm. Maybe I need to change a chapter. OK, maybe not.

I grew up in New Jersey. There was a place called Action Park that had an Alpine Slide, among other rides, including water attractions. I don't recall it having two parallel tracks though. I'm pretty sure there was one water attraction with identical tubes next to each other. I was almost expecting another injury, but apparently their Alpine Slide was better made than Action Park's, which actually caused one death and numerous injuries.

Rod gave the other kid $50. $20 for himself, and the other $30 to buy the booze. As far as sucking the Dean off, that was before Sr got kicked to the curb. Rod was still afraid of the ramifications from dad if he was kicked out of school. Also, a little bit tongue in cheek. Like saying I’ll do anything to avoid this bad thing, without really meaning “anything.”

Yes, Mrs. Quincy is somewhat of a hero. Apparently, she had enough of Rod Sr’s shenanigans and say buh-bye loser. Thanksgiving will be fun.
