There's still the banging into one another, but fights are becoming a rarity. The pros will be playing in the Olympics next month, so you will have an opportunity to watch some more, should you feel so inclined.

    Monday was Luca’s actual birthday. Having gotten a special dinner on Saturday, all that remained was birthday presents and a special treat for dessert after dinner.     Another wonderful chapter. One question though, don’t they have cell phones? They could have easily checked news outlets for news about the thieves, rather than waiting for input from Preston.

    They don’t have to be full scholarships. For example, they could set up, say 20 of $1000 each for students to use for day-to-day expenses or to offset tuition slightly. They could propose that 5 be awarded each year for 4 years. Other conditions could be placed as well, like no student receives more than two.

    Actually, I had started trying to revamp another nifty story to fit the guidelines here, but I got to a chapter I’d need to gut to make it work. Maybe after I finish the two in progress I can cover that oldie.

    Jeff Inness had played cornerback in his freshman year at Hardaway High. Due to his legal troubles, he didn't get to play his sophomore year. At Riverside, Head Coach Brennan and defensive coach Schuster felt he was a little slow to handle that role. They decided to try him at defensive end.
