  1. You’re welcome. If I had looked up times much earlier, Michael wouldn’t have been as much of a Superman. But at least I kept him slower than sighted individuals.
  2. Thanks. I’m sure I’ll cover that. I did come across some words about altered travel during my research, but forgot it. Will need to dust it off for the next chapter.
  3. Yeah, I’m sure our Aussie friends will be a little upset with me too.
  4. Seven and a half months to go. That was Michael’s first thought after kissing Stephen to ring in the new year. Michael had mapped out the major US Paralympic events prior to the Paralympics in Los Angeles that would begin on August 15th. - Birmingham in early March - Indianapolis in late April - Cincinnati in mid-May - Atlanta and Boise in late June Now all he had to do was convince his parents to let him go to them. Birmingham and Atlanta were weekends and drivable. Cin
  5. Maybe Five has to save Percy again and Percy finally comes to his senses. Ok, maybe not.
  6. I won’t say it outright, but will provide a hint. Robin Williams.
  7. Please leave a recommendation and comment on what you think is happening in the bathroom. I’m not sure you want to know what I think is happening in the bathroom. I’m sure I’m wrong because it’s not good and I don’t think you’d go there. Five and Bethany talked, but there is more to be said. what a tangled love triangle you’ve weaved.

    Chapter 4

How are they still breathing after two minutes of tickling. I’m out of breath, coughing and wheezing after maybe 30 seconds. @Greg, reading GA on a flight sitting next to a stranger? You are a brave man. Although, I’d be tempted to adjust myself in plain sight in an attempt to shut her up.
  9. Yes, fortune must shine on these athletes in many ways, counter-acting the roadblocks that life has given them.
  10. Seems like there’s one or two in every crowd. But even with the haters around, at least Oliver’s already got some friends he can hang with.
  11. Thanks, practice makes perfect; or at least really, really good.
  12. Thanks. I have touched on some of this at points but it’s good you put it all together in one place for everybody. Thank you. FYI, I made a statement at one point in the story that there’s never been a blind swimmer in the “real” Olympics, but we all know there’s a first time for everything. Even in fiction. Will Michael be the first? Wait and see.
  13. Sweet. Thanks much.
  14. Definitely. We shall see.
  15. Thanks. HEA? I have this idea of a plane crash bubbling around in my head. Do I use it here or consider a new survival adventure? Hmmmmm.
  16. Yes, one can. But is hope enough?
  17. Site of the 2032 summer Olympics/Paralympics. Exciting indeed.
  18. Michael had almost two months to prepare for the Augusta competition. He, Stephen, and Dennis Albert started going to the Columbus Aquatic Center on Saturdays, plus Tuesdays and Thursdays after school, Angie shuttling them there and back. Stephen looked like a swim coach himself; whistle around his neck, stopwatch in hand, and holding his tapper's stick. Michael was confident about fifty meters, so they focused on 100 meters. Dennis simply had a tapping stick. He was needed to give Michael the i
  19. Not even gonna try. My OCD will force me to make it rhyme. And probably consistent syllable counts.

    Chapter 36 S3

Things are definitely moving right along. Good job Bill.
  21. I live to disappoint you. OK, not really.
  22. Awesome. The next one won’t be Lee Wilson lite though.
  23. Of course, nobody’s perfect.
