    Thanks. Definitely did more research than usual for this and the previous chapters. The times in the final were indeed the top 5 from last year's championships. The names were changed in those cases, but I left the real record holder’s name in place.

    Coach Lawson arrived at the Inness household at a few minutes to six. Since he was expected, when the doorbell rang, Michael ran to answer. He pressed the intercom, “Who’s there?” “Hi, Michael, it’s Coach Lawson.” Michael opened the door and let the coach in. Coach Lawson slapped Michael lightly on the back, “It’s good to see you again, Michael.” “Same here, Coach. Hehe.” Michael led the coach into the kitchen where he asked his mother if dinner was almost ready.
