Yeah, I don't often use dates, but I do generally keep a timeline file for each story, so I can keep track of when things happen. You'd probably have to keep track as you go along. That, and my comment about timing is actually a chapter too early. -

They're generally born from the initial idea, but I do start some untitled until a key item happens that becomes a worthy title. I'm usually only a few chapters ahead before I start posting, so enough has happened to elicit a title. But they come from the same dark corner of my mind as do the stories.
