He knows that Hank "marked" him. Heck he was covered in something worse than axle grease that day. If not mistaken he thought of running after that. Hank might have already shown him more decency at his young age than anyone else has. It's sad but Jessie does think things through in that awful way he does. He's not that skittish anymore and when he looks at Hank is when he gets more peaceful inside! "Hmm, Getting better is he?"

Damn! That was some just about perfect sex described. And when done by an artist of words that can paint a scene and emotions on a page? Melt in your mouth good ! Know that's an old saying. I experienced it in reality for the first time 25yrs ago. Amilies is a French bistro near where I spent most of my life on the Southside..Myers Park. Great coffee, sublime pastries, good food. Their baked stuff was all homemade from the croissants to the sugary. The butter-frosting on the cakes? It will literally melt on your tongue. "Been Experienced?" "I have." RIP JIMI Can't see a way to even discuss this with Camille, I'm so... I can't think straight right now! This story is a barn-burner. -
Jessie is "programed" to expect the worst out of people. The preface to this scene was Hank making a home cooked meal. Upon finding Jessie exhausted and asleep on the sofa he committed a small loving gesture, then didn't even eat his own plateful of food. Imagine that, the big burly guy is falling for the skittish, previously abused kid! Am I wrong interpreting it that way?

Sometimes I hold off on reviews because they seem inadequate to me. This covers it except the storylines. A couple even said more succinctly. This @Wayne Gray gay novel is a Classic! From the the story to the characters that are brought into view and to life with the words crafted here. Not a short story and not too girthy either. Just right!

Went over this one again, after a foray into a week long book I count as a classic here. @Nuno R.F.C. Rendeiro feel I'll be calling this book on of those when you are finished! Before the next chapter I've got to give acclaim to your writing again. "Good Looking" invites comparison. *Beautiful Just Is" Wow, when I called my loves that they did not get it at first. Had to say things like the sunrise over the Atlantic after a storm has lost its luster. Like yours better. Taking care of an oops for a friend, you've evolved it into a sensual realization of love between both of them! BRAVO!

That settles it, they are worse than my xfamily. Xunc has my...everything. on SSI can't replace. All they did was steal everything I've ever owned or bought. Xbro bragged he used his psychology and theology college training to torment me with. Ha! He works at homo depot! So I lived in my rdx for six months until I found a place to move to.. Changed my # so they couldn't call, made a will so they can't ever get this except my innocent niece or nephew under their mom's family's supervision. F'em all the way to hell with this loy!. -

Geeze, Louie is just flinging the doors wide open. Inviting all kinds of trouble. If he'd been mature enough to talk about expectations with his second heavenly boyfriend he wouldn't have the first angry one out to get him. Seems he would have talked to the first already. RIP McSteamy: you would have been fine as any of these guys in this story. Probably Mark.

First off, the story is named appropriately. THE REEK, Nasty. if you've ever been within a quarter mile of a pig farm. Don't even know if 60k chickens in 95f + heat is worse. Been out in in country many times. Live there now and the young men are every bit as fine and frustrating when they bro-flirt with my over the hill self! Think Jessie is going anywhere? Hank knows how to work him!

Yep their eyes met alright. Thing is, Rowan is starting to open up to his mother. It seemed he was ready to really open up for Elias, and vice versa. Elias cock blocked himself in the first degree trying to be a good guy. Don't think he can do that forever though.

I was thinking jilted lover after the first chapter. But you are right, never underestimate the hatred and loathing of family. Even if you think there is love there.
