Good Start Chris! Yep, hot too. Think it will be Louie's bf that does the title deed. And I remember that Nun from back when I loved Whoopi!

This thing between these two has gone from cold to like the fettuccini I boiled on high for 11 min tonight in a flash. "Dats a Spicy Meatball"!

The Russians Are Coming!...Again!
J J commented on R. Eric's story chapter in The Russians Are Coming!...Again!
Hello @R. Eric good to hear from you again! Your stories are beloved by more than just a few of us here. Thanks for sharing Tony in all the characters he's portrayed as. But, in this one you've shown us him as himself. Until the next time. 🫂 🍝🥖☕ -
That kid is really messed up. He has no realization of what Camille has been through, and may be aware of her trying to reach him. Elias? Mid-life sexuality crisis possibly? Must have been going on for a while if his only release is the uncaring methodical hammering of some gal he doesn't even seem to like. But he cares about Camille. And she just introduced him to a pretty boy he can not stop thinking about. Kid isn't forgetting about Elias either! Thanks, great first chapter here!

Right back atcha Jack!!

Naa, just saying I've learned not to try and speed read you writings. If I did, I'd miss something good!

@Philippe I doubt you would lead me any wrong direction. But I appreciate what you post. You and several others here enunciate... let's say guidance for others that haven't got to the next chapter. Thanks!

This "In the Shadows" book is a good read. Unique with the two fantasy genres written into it. Easy to spot the good vs the bad. Nice triumphs even with the sacrifices made for it. Careful you don't fall for the characters... it happens easily here.

Yes, they both felt and recall that spark of emotion when Hank grabbed Jessie's hips.

With the preface and chapter one down. Got a few directions this could go. Given that @Jack Poignet wrote this? Might be a while longer before I find out! @Philippe seems to always have a deep perspective to share, and I'll be sure to watch his input also!

Awe, Jack's growing up.

Re-read the last prior to this chapter. Lots going on now. The field mouse, a minx 😊? Teasing the alpha. The other stud, moon goddess and the demon with sticks in his head🫣! damn.

"Will It Always Be Like This?"
J J commented on Nuno R.F.C. Rendeiro's story chapter in "Will It Always Be Like This?"
Yessiree, this last chapter especially tugged at my heart in a really good way. Know you're aware because of your level of skill but the heartstrings can be pulled the other way in stories that take reader on a good ride. Here's to your continued success🍟- 24 comments

Fully agree with the two prior write ups. First Story ? 😯 Way to go!! From the sacrifices made closer to the start? This was real between the two guys from the get-go. Really not aware if that line of work has already instigated the changes noted by a main character here. If not, the author has a clear comprehension of what's needed! Heartwarming, and a joy to read. Put this one on your short list!

"Will It Always Be Like This?"
J J commented on Nuno R.F.C. Rendeiro's story chapter in "Will It Always Be Like This?"
Darnitt, @Nuno R.F.C. Rendeiro you've done it now! The few small sweet words prior to "The Cage" did it. Yep, tears. It was way after Liam's standing ovation statement following the oscar. "That's..." Liam managed, voice rough. He stopped, shook his head as if the rest of the sentence had evaporated. Hudson smiled faintly, fond. "Yeah." Liam swallowed hard. "You bought the place we met." Hudson nodded once. "Yeah." Liam looked around, stunned. The restaurant suddenly felt like more than a room, it felt like a living artifact, a piece of their story, the best piece, that Hudson had reached back and saved. Liam's eyes burned. "Hudson," he whispered, like the name contained everything he didn't have words for. Hudson's smile softened. They walked hand in hand, reverently, toward the far corner of the dining room. Romace & love are not things you ever forget if you've truly experienced them! Thanks for that perfect ending.- 24 comments

Chapter 2: Slippery Shadows
J J commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 2: Slippery Shadows
Interesting on several levels. I was thinking the ring around VinWs leg fur came from Bol maybe. Seems that meet & warning would have left something behind. Didn't the alpha where he was born say that the police wanted that statement remade since they're now aware of supernatural realities as opposed to before? Vincent is coming back quickly from the incident of splitting himself after the first shift. The simple fact is that Vincent is impressing everyone he meets in one way or another. -
Homecoming: Crowns, Confessions, and Collateral Damage
J J commented on Jeff Burton's story chapter in Homecoming: Crowns, Confessions, and Collateral Damage
This is a good one. Don't need them to get a home with a white picket fence, adopt kids & join the pta. The drama of the prom over, feelings displayed are almost enough. So as just readers, we'll keep our eyes peeled for what you decide to do! Thanks Jeff -
The Beach Episode (Because Apparently That’s Required)
J J commented on Jeff Burton's story chapter in The Beach Episode (Because Apparently That’s Required)
Happy that Skylar has TWO sexy guys want him after he yells himself out in school less than a week ago. But damn, kissed the new guy, and his long term crush outed himself at the sight of that kiss. Looks like he wanted to make sure Sky got home safe and got that eyeful. The boys have got to come clean and figure this out!! -

Saints, Sinners, and the Sucker in the Middle
J J commented on Jeff Burton's story chapter in Saints, Sinners, and the Sucker in the Middle
Oh heck, saw Princess Diaries mentioned earlier. Stable-boys eyes when he involuntarily utters "As you wish" They could've, would've made me fall for a blonde Cali surfer type a second time! -
My Closet Had Better Lighting Than My Future
J J commented on Jeff Burton's story chapter in My Closet Had Better Lighting Than My Future
Aye ya yaaa, this is so not like the psycho thrill story I read of yours recently @Jeff Burton This one is f'n hilarious. Dad is from a Matt Groenig cartoon. Mom is like the gal from married w/children crossed with Carvey's church-lady from when the Saturday night traffic in a town of a million dropped to zilch because that new SNL show had come out! The others.... well we "Followed the Yellow Brick Rd" said with those munchkin voices every Sun, Wed, Thurs, Fri to that disco back then too! -
Another of the really great lycan stories for those of us that gravitate towards them. Will take several days to binge on even if you aren't iced into the side of your mountain for almost a month like I've been. Also a shout out to the prolific editor and common denominator of so many great tales here!@Carlos Hazday

A remarkably well written story. The lycan related stories here are numerous. Each is as different as the authors are! -
"All The Trees Of The Field Will Clap Their Hands"
J J commented on Nuno R.F.C. Rendeiro's story chapter in "All The Trees Of The Field Will Clap Their Hands"
Yes! That's a rare & wonderful ideal to strive for. Great chapter, normalcy seems a part of their lives now. Except these characters are all above normal with their aspirations and abilities.
