Ciao Wayne, you wrote this at last four years ago. In my country situation is not so heavy, speaking about fentanyl. But I have to say that reading your words make me shiver. When you say that they can be saved IF they want to be saved I wonder what kind of life brings you in a situation like this? Your only choice is to die? Where is the family? Where is the community that would have been around you? Is this the future of the new generations? I’m an old man, workin as a teacher my last year before the retirement., and I see these new generations going around without any ideas about the future, without any reference to look at, no curiosity about knowledge. The problem comes from the past I think, from other generations. It’s not easy for me to explain all my thinking in a different language so I hope you understood the general meaning of these lines. But my hart is very heavy now, and it means that your writing is very real, Wayne… good work.

Camp Refuge is like an island of peace, full of pain, anger, desire, needs. but is a place of peace because everyone can find what they needs. They only have to open their eyes, listen to their souls and they’ll find what they need. So… come and read! The coffee is ready!

Great chapter Wayne ❤️. One of my preferred book is “Seeing Voices: A Journey Into the World of the Deaf” from Oliver Sacks. I started to read it after the movie “Children of a lesser God”. As a musician the idea of a world without sound fascinating me… The silence is the most important part of the music. I’d like to study LIS (Lingua Italiana dei Segni - Italian Signs Language). Maybe one day…

What to say? You're crazy if you don't read this story! In here you will find really different characters, and before the end of the story you will have to change your mind about them several times. Only the two protagonists, Paul and Corbin, are and will be until the end as you will know them from the first lines. Wayne has managed, in this story, to build a fair balance between the various protagonists, their relationships and the facts that unite them. The love relationship between the protagonists is the beacon that leads all the characters involved to the overwhelming finale that awaits the reader in the last chapter. Still here? Start reading right away! PS: English isn’t my mother language so please forgive me…

A very good work Wayne. The plot was really complicated, and you did it really well. As an Italian DOC I asked myself many questions, but this is not the place to talk about it. Italian language was also very good, apart from a few wrong words (thanks Google...). What can I say? I'm waiting for the next one... An Italian hug. Ste.
