One of the main reasons I wanted to write this was to put some doubts in people's minds about Nate ... is he or isn't he! You'll all find out the answers when we meet him again ...     Yes, not only was he a brilliant performer, but he was a brilliant song writer. The Ladies Lounge is now the dining room for the restaurant. Did you see the TV mini series with Rebecca Gibney playing his mother? It outlined a lot of his growing up years in Armidale. They moved here after his father shot himself as I recall. MP

LOL As it happens, Peter and I have a few things in common, like ... living in the same town, he went to school with my uncle (he was a couple of years above Unc. though), we've both had blow jobs in Cinders Lane (at least I didn't get busted by the cops though! haha), and I've had meals in the hotel bar where he used to perform here!     @Summerabbacat "bum fruit" was one of those sayings from my childhood that just seemed to stick. It's a country thang, I guess! 😋 After what these guys went through in their first story I just had to give them some better experiences this time around ... but at the same time I want to put a few thoughts in the mind of the readers that will get them thinking about what comes next, particularly for Nate. Not too sure how much there is to go with KF, but even after Nate ships out I suspect there may be more story to tell with some of the other characters. 🙂 And THANK YOU for choosing that song! I was wondering what you might come up with! 😉
