    Chapter 3

The first few trips back and forth had me excited as the adjustments I had been making on the Mining Laser’s had worked out well and we were chewing rock faster than I ever had on the shuttle. This would be the last of our trips back in to unload. I had also inquired about the availability of a Hauler. My cousin Randy found out I had a real miner now and had himself assigned to me. He was going to remove his cut from my haul so I would save a few credits. Which he figured I would need. And he wa

    Chapter 21

🤣LOL Yes. Once I had my coffee, I figured that out. I just couldn't remember if I did or didn't use a quote from Shakespeare... Because I might have...🤣

    Chapter 21

OK. I haven't had the third cup of coffee this morning and had to reread the chapter as I just didn't remember writing, "Fare thee well, my sweet Janek. I must away..." It was a, *Smacks forehead with palm* moment. 🤣 Marc loves his little sister. Name calling and all. Thanks for the comment @Al Norris!

    Prologue

Yeah... Binge reading has its downfalls. 😀
  9. Hi everyone, I logged in this morning and had the email notification that I had 2 reviews on Dances with Whales. quokka and cane23 were the authors of said reviews. I followed the prompt to read them and there is nothing there. Also, the User Feedback is also not there and that had several comments from a few of my readers and my responses since the first chapter dropped. I opened another screen to Dances with Whales and entered my stories that way. The User Feedback is present, but the reviews are not. Checking on It All Started With A Shuttle Flight, which has three reviews, the reviews should be another tab on the User Feedback line. And they are still present. Any thoughts as I'm confused? Did I not have enough coffee yet today? Best regards, P. E. Knapp Edit: Another thought. Last night I marked the story as Complete. After reading comments this morning I switched it to Long Term Hold.

  19. We spent several days alone, only having dinner with family and friends, while we did tours of the ports we stopped in. The Mendenhall Glacier helicopter and dog-sledding trip from Juneau turned out to be our favorite. Ryan and Peggy came with us and took pictures of us as we took shots of them. Logan and I snuggled together with the dog sled team was one of our best. The trip itself was nice, and it was fun to be with family, but after 14 days. Logan and I wanted to be alone. Which I had planne

    Chapter 2

Thanks for the question @ReaderPaul! Vebnesite is a rare expensive ore. Not usually found in large quantities. Marc is on the lookout for where it was found but can't seem to figure it out.

Yes. And popular with offshore sailors too. Just have the fishing net on standby when it hits the water. 😀

    Chapter 4

Thank you, everyone for the wonderful comments! For my first foray into modern romance, I am very happy with the outcome!😍 When I wrote this for the Fall Anthology, I did a fast and dirty take on an idea I had. It turned out to be a very good decision on my part and the story came out very nicely. Easy to write, easy to control and easy to edit. I decided to post it instead. That being said. It has the potential to be even more. The simple expansion of the story into the months I skipped over and filling out the scenes with more information could easily turn this into a 70 to 100k word book of around 25 chapters. But. That book would be a very different read than it currently is now. I’m at an impasse as I sit back and read all the wonderful comments over the four chapters. Do I change the winner and turn it into something else. Do I continue on as the continuing stories of Eric and Logan. Write the story of Eric and Amanda’s friendship from Amanda’s POV leading up to her girlfriend. Write the story of Logan and Alex. Or do I use this story as a stepping stone to create a few shorter books based on the same principle and world created for Logan and Eric. Maybe including Eric and Logan. At this point, the thoughts are still running through my mind, which is, filled with thoughts of my Sci-Fi series. Yes. There is a conflict of interest. I will continue to think about it and see which way I want to go with it. In the meantime. If I finish it fast enough, there might be a short post tonight as chapter 5 as a goodbye wave from Eric and Logan as the sail off into the sunset. Below is the world any stories in this or any similar books will be found. Once again. Thank you for reading, leaving your impressions and more importantly. Taking the time to comment. Whether to ask questions, point out issues or just to give general comments about the story. Thank you all very much! @Onim, @akascrubber, @donjr101, @centexhairysub, @drsawzall, @Al Norris, @VBlew, @BradM1, @Cane23, @ReaderPaul, @Freemantleman, @NOLARE

    Chapter 1

Thanks for the question @ReaderPaul! AIS - Is an automated signaling system that has been pushed in the last decade as a preventative measure to reduce accidents at sea among offshore boaters. I believe it is mandated to be on all commercial ships. The problem is, since it acts like a tracking device, many commercial fishermen turn it off when fishing, so nobody knows where they are fishing, especially if it's illegally. So, then you have the offshore sailors that have no warning and are run down by fishing vessels in the middle of the night. It actually doesn't receive messages, I don't think. Maybe they do now days, but I added that into the story. Its sole purpose is to broadcast your location to other vessels with AIS and will sound an alarm if one is within a certain range.

Thanks for the comment @ReaderPaul! @Al Norris Binge on and enjoy! Edit: I really shouldn't answer comments after hours of editing. Too many words and names getting mixed up! Sorry about that Al Norris!
  25. It’s been 8 days since we arrived in Oahu. The three of us had a blast between meetings and phone calls. More than once, Amanda took Logan out for the morning and lunch so I could work. Thankful for the time difference as I could work from 6 am to 12 pm and catch almost the entire workday, which my boss always liked. That was fine with both of them as they were becoming friends, which I might regret later on. Two days later, we were on a flight to San Diego. Amanda was coming too, for suppo
