    Chapter 23

I guess I'm a little late coming on to this story but I'm glad I did. I am so caught up with the goings on in "Misaligned" that I want to see if your other stories were as captivating and I am very impressed. I get so caught up with the dynamics between characters I've developed a fondness for all of them. I'm glad to see you have many other stories for me to explore. "Collateral" was an awesome tale I didn't want to come to an end but it was a heart warming one at the end. You have a great gift and thank you for sharing these wonderful stories.

    Chapter 1

I would love to go Australia and play tourist. Maybe go by and see what Port Macquarie and Thompsonville are now like. Compare local places to old photographs from off the internet or the libraries. In my much younger days I was fascinated with a place called Hobart in Tasmania and it wasn't because of the devil. I got caught up browsing through encyclopedias in school and at home. Mr. MP Peters seems to have brought these out to the forefront when I first read a book of his a while back from another online site...which shall not be named. lol
  3. Thank you very much for this story, Master Scribe. I'm sorry about what happened to your friend Graham. At the time, being so young and thinking life will go on forever, it is unfathomable to understand the lost of someone so close to you. It's been more than fifty years and I still think of my friend Jimmy and yes I get angry sometimes about why he was taken away so soon. I'll always remember him.
  4. I wept! This whole chapter was very endearing. I love endings like this one.
  5. This whole idea of Grayson's for a subvert wedding plan has "cute" written all over it. How did the five years fly by so fast? I think this is how "Happily ever after" should be like. Maybe Mike might show up for the wedding and hope that Animal doesn't get out for parole until after too.
  6. What a relief to know that the end is not yet. So I don't have to worry about moving to Thompsonville. I just want to keep up the wholesomeness and goodness that these stories give me. Thank you, sir.

    'Promesa'

What I'm getting here is that a blow job and some pain pills will make your day! Shouldn't that be addressed in his treatment plan? The boys have gotten too comfortable in the hospital environment.
  8. I wished I had an older brother like Grayson to learn about "stuff" while growing up. Instead, I had the typical older brother that did the endless tormenting that they do. That alone made me a better person with how I treated my younger bro.
  9. Poor Gray. Another traumatic event in his life but this time involving someone very close and personal. He might look helpless for the moment and I'm sure he will come through it all, when it really counts, for Raffa. I hope somebody will try and call Raffa's family.

    Chapter 8

Jonah, Will and James could try having a relationship involving the threesome. That arrangement may have a negative effect on Jonah's chances to be the Senior class president. Decisions, decisions.
  11. It's hard for me to imagine Animal being this dastardly person when I keep thinking of Animal in Sesame Street.
  12. This sure brings back a lot of those "first" in a relationship memories. The one "first" that stuck in my mind was the first meeting of his family. His parents came out to visit from NY because he was at school in Berkeley and also having both sisters living in the Bay area. We were planning to get together at an Italian restaurant in SF and here I was being his first boyfriend. So there we were with his parents, two sisters, an older brother and two nephews. Not much pressure to bear. Huh!!? For some reason the person I felt the most intimidated by was his mother. In the end she was actually a gracious woman and it was a pleasure to get to know her. It was from her I learned about my partner with his brother and their mischievous childhood. The entire evening worked out well after meeting all of them. So, weeks later, he told me how well his family thought of me since he called his mother often. Also during that dinner I realized that people from Long Island have an accent too. lol

    Placing Charges

There's so much happening right now. If the deck of cards gets reshuffled then all the information the FBI has will be useless and getting info on them all over again will start from scratch. Going underground will put many of those kids lives in peril. With the FBI taking in Agent Samson maybe he can provide more information on the organization, that's if he fully cooperates. I hope that one of the first persons to be arrested is that creep who has a kid leashed and collared like a dog at his desk.

    Over the Hill

Almost all these individual stories seem headed towards a positive outcome. I'm hoping most of them will and specially the boys still out there and missing. Many of the adults and all of the children have history involving so much hurt and that is profound. There's still a lot of work that needs to be done on the pain in the minds of the traumatized. Roger and Thomas are good examples of trying and overcoming adversity. This is such a good story!

    Acceptance

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Arturo and Micah will find more commonality beyond the eyes and begin bonding between two strangers. Will the addition of information provided by Domenic de Luca help find and squash the network of really bad people? Will all those gay people working in the federal and state governments converging in Chicago turn it into a Provincetown for the northern midwest. That's not a bad thing to make Boystown encompass the entire Chi-town metro area. hehe

    No Longer Alone

Wow, there are so many twists and turns in this story. I await anxiously for the next chapter. This recalls my understanding how everybody has a story to tell where some are greater than your own and others not so much. But, we each have our own nonetheless. I just wish that those boys, and adults as well, will feel less traumatized and maybe a little hopeful ahead. The psychological efforts to redirect the damages done will be taxing to both counselor and client. A lot of them may still have nightmares and setbacks from memories of their trauma. It will take time to know whether their attempts have been successful to some degree or perhaps too damaged to see what normal is. This story really opened my eyes to what trauma a child might face for someone so young to understand what's happened. Unable to figure out the bad events and put it in a perspective that, unfortunately, they have nothing to relate it to. I am finding difficulty even trying to imagine what they are going through. I am angry knowing there are really bad people out there and they prey on young vulnerable and innocent people. What do we do? Sorry to be rambling but that's where I am right at this moment. I hope this has a happy end to it because they all deserve it.
  17. That's an amazing story. I can only hope when an actual cure is developed soon. It's frightening the feeling of helplessness when a child gets sick. They look to you for taking away whatever pain or sickness they have. It's good the people that were turned away didn't try and mob her home and family demanding help for their child. I guess her "gift" was so rare that someone else was unable to take her place.

    L & O Chapter 5

This chapter makes you wonder what other situations might be waiting for Dalton and friends in their backpacking adventure. I wonder how much of what happened to Dalton back in Canada was still bothering him. It's always great having friends like Levi and Jack and knowing they have your back leaves life long impressions. Looking forward to hearing more of Dalton and Co.

    Chapter 34

I like endings like this. It feels similar to them tucking the kids into bed knowing everyone is safe and secure as you close the page of the final chapter. That how I like'em to end.

    Chapter 33

That was another feel good moment finishing up this chapter. In the previous chapters there were much more details with the search for a job, a home and the sudden arrival of infants. The four years fighting was a little glossed over. I wanted to see the parts where Mickey and his team gives the "shaft" to both mother and sons who cause all this turmoil to begin with. I wish I had the opportunity to donate to my old schools but, being a former military brat that would have been quite a few schools lol
  21. Think about all those families with members as sick as Daniel all coming to seek that miracle worker. It would probably be upsetting to Dr. N-M, but more frightening to her family. I can't remember the saying but it comes out to bad things happen to those who do good. If she continues doing treatment will it be billed as a procedure or by length of time or both?

    Chapter 32

I liked the part where they were in the boardroom face to face with the brothers and the showdown about to begin. Imagine a big budget movie about Wall Street where the little guys ( David) challenge the big bad guys (Goliath). Mickey's team sounded like they were well knowledgable of the situation and it's beginning to look like a positive outcome may be ahead. As to what will be left over, after the war is won, is anyone's guess. The good news is that Mickey and Drew get another pooper in their household. If that's a corporate jet then they could fly to Hawaii for a much needed vacation afterwards.

    L & O Chapter 4

I can't believe he got out of the legal system without any complications such as further paperwork needing clearance or lack of someone's signature on something. I've alway met some wall to deter any type of an easy ending. Also, how is it he gets a rushed compensation check from the county? They are akin to pulling teeth to issue any monies for disbursement or refunds. He's a very lucky guy to have everything work out as easily as it did.

    Chapter 31

    Philippe you scare me. 😮

    Chapter 31

When they do get into the murky waters of this situation and it puts a strain in their relationship will Mickey actually heed to Drew's request or demand to withdraw if that time comes? Can the 'team' stay together when the pressures come to bear or will it fragment leaving bitterness everywhere? All the craziness that's going to happen can stop any plans on going to the Aloha state any time soon. "What a world, what a world" BTW, is it that easy to tap into someone else's trust fund? I thought there were safe guards to prevent easy access to them.
