  1. I must brag a little. I love the presentation of this story and how everything is a little relaxed. I also look forward to seeing how things go for the main character. He's a bit of a party boi. Anyway, I am definitely honored to be the beta reader for this story. It's shaping up to be a very interesting series. Gary, that mention is also an "ahem" to you about me being the beta reader.
  2. I'll have to check it out some time. It sounds nice and devious! I am surprised you did not try to combat what I said about my own death toll. Again, the two of you should be cellies! There is another added benefit, but it carries a built-in disadvantages. Prisons don't provide the essentials. I think you can guess those two essentials. It does make me wonder why anyone wants to in prison. Those things are important... well, one is all the time while the other is most of the time. On second thought, I want chapter 7 and all subsequent chapter. He cannot write them if he's in jail.
  3. I don't like Helen either. I was the one who wanted to start Helen Must Die. She is a little too cross for a manager. I think she forgets that she works for them and not the opposite way around. She also tends to be cruel to Eric by ruining his fun.
  4. Pantera "Cemetary Gates" and "Walk"
  5. I'm sure there are plenty of gay bikers out there, and I don't mean just Dykes on Bikes. So, who do you all think is the subject in the title of the upcoming chapter?
  6. If it's who I am thinking, he knows about me as well. Anyway, I doubt the bikers in LTMP are necessarily bad. Bikers can be really cool!
  7. Well, some of my poems are happy, but that one isn't. "Living in a World" is more about my view of the world as a whole.
  8. Nick, that's how the media is. They focus on scandal. However, there are some aspects in pride parades that are so outlandish that it cannot be shown on TV. I don't understand why some are so damn crude. Giving head in the middle of the street is disgusting. It is not proper. The orientation does not matter. It is WRONG to act like that in public. This is something more private.
  9. And I love that song. Garbage is wonderful. Savage Garden "I Want You" and "Crash and Burn"
  10. Well, it's nice to have you. Welcome to GA.
  11. I'm guessing it has more to do with The Scar.
  12. Gary, it also contains back-ups of editing I have done. Every once in a while there is a need to resend stuff like that. As for deleting it all, I don't trust anyone with that. Some of the stuff in that folder is stuff that NO ONE from GA has seen. Some of it is stuff that only I have seen. I actually have two chapters of a story that I will re-write someday and possibly tie to another one of my stories.
  13. Then, I suppose you might be willing to concede that Chapter 10 of my story did not have an evil cliffhanger ending, right? Hmmmm... That sounds like an intriguing title. Is it Monday yet?
  14. Cliffhanger free? I think not. Chapter 37 was definitely a cliffhanger. Sorry, but I have to include 40 and 19 as well. Those are evil cliffhangers. There are different levels of cliffhangers. Level A is "Damn!" Level B is "Holy S**t!" Level C is Holy <f bombin'> s**t!" I put Chapter 37 at Level C; Chapter 40 is at level A. Chapter 19 is at Level B. I can honestly say that I have yet to write a Level A.
  15. My folder is simply called "Stories". Some stuff is what I may use in the future. One of the stories I might do is possibly going to be related to another. It will need to be re-written, because the form isn't good. There's even one I started tonight. I wish I had the ability to focus on one story at a time. Does anyone have any advice about that?
  16. Saturday, I will be moving to Kansas. I am actually excited about it. The town is a bit larger. I am so tired of this town. It's just not a good place to be. In addition, I have been thinking a lot about my life. One of my friends is suggesting that I actually take A+ certification, which would basically give me more hands-on training with computers. Some of the stuff they teach is stuff I already know, like how to assemble a computer's outer components. The inner components I am not as familiar with, but I want to learn them. If all goes well, I will find a job in the KC metro. I am an hour south of there now. I think that would be a better place for me, because it is much more gay friendly, and there is an actual community. Chances are that I could easily find a special friend there, and that is what I need. The only thing I don't know is if I want a relationship or if I want something a little more casual. If I had to say at this moment I would say the latter. I am not very trusting, and I think either someone would have to make a lot of effort, or I would have to really be liking him. At least I'm more comfortable now. There is a down side to the friends with benies thing. There was one time where I felt used afterwards. That was bad. Anyway, I am tired. That is why I am so random here.
  17. I will be seeking help soon, Gary. I have definitely been having some problems lately. Anyway, I have adjusted the other short story to fit the special theme. I hope everyone will like it.
  18. I do not think it is a choice, Gary. I could try to act straight if I wanted. I don't really know how the gay men who are married can stand it. I would be extremely unhappy. It took me a while to figure that out though. Anyway, gay pride parades are a doubled-edged sword. All communities have their freaks. We are certainly not an exception. I, for one, could never participate in street orgies in The Big Easy (well more like Big Sleazy in that case). I agree with Prycron about the fact that it needs to be family friendly. Otherwise, it's just a freak show. There is a difference between pride and acting like a bunch of animals. I tend to keep my animalistic side in the bedroom just as everyone else should.
  19. Gary, I often go into the worst case scenario when I write a poem. I like the dramatic effect of tapping into my own emotions and mixing them with the emotions I would have in certain situations. The effect is poetry with a level of darkness my fans have come to expect. I am truly developing a style of my own. I do not do a lot of light-hearted poetry. That might change someday. However, I hope to never lose my edge with writing the darker poetry.
  20. Rob Zombie "Superbeast"
  21. Well, we all make mistakes. At some point, I have a few mistakes to fix in Dark Earth: The Prophecy. That should be a lot of fun. Thanks for the heads up, CJ.
  22. Well, hopefully you'll like Unattainable too, Gary. It may also be haunting.
  23. No, I have not read it. I might have to some time. Marylin Manson "Redeemer" (from Queen of the Damned)
  24. Steph, I am moving to Kansas Saturday. I should be able to find mental health services there. When I find out what's wrong, I will let everyone know what's going on with me. I have my suspicions of what it is, but I don't know for sure yet. Anyway, thanks for the advice.
  25. I happen to think that they are freak shows. You get a bunch of the worst types. Southern Decadence, for example, features orgies in the streets. This shows the bad side of the gay community. On the other hand, there is a need to exhibit pride, so it's really difficult to say one way or the other. We do need some who are out and proud. Thus I am going with other, because it can both hurt and help our cause.
