I hate mine, haha. The Academy is a very unique place. Depending on your senior mentor, the Mentor (the Academy’s Master), the faction you choose, and even the clubs you join (which may sound harmless but can sometimes be extremely dangerous), your experience at the Academy can vary drastically. As for what kind of experience awaits Richter, we might need a little more time to find out. A fun little Easter egg: The answer depends on what you aim to achieve in the assessment. If the goal is to showcase strength, then bringing every tool that provides an advantage is necessary. But if the purpose is to identify one’s shortcomings, then participating barehanded would offer a more accurate measure. So, Kotetsu’s advice is quite reasonable.

Let's look forward to it together!

Academy: Knowledge is Power. "...Well, that's not something you see every day." A deep, resonant voice stirred me awake. I opened my eyes and found myself lying face down on some kind of white flooring. My mind quickly pieced together what had happened, but I forced myself to rise calmly, as if I'd meant to land face-first all along--perhaps I'd been a bit too optimistic about this "new beginning." While straightening my clothes, I swiftly surveyed the small room. We were stand

Piqsirpoq's primary goal was to grant freedom to the Senate’s wolves, so the restrictions on pairings between factions had been lifted. However, he did not interfere with other Canines. And this is where things differ slightly. The inheritance laws among Canines were originally designed to prevent defective genes from being passed down within a family. However, in reality, this is impossible to avoid—given enough time, it is bound to happen. There are only two ways to resolve this issue, one of which is to reinforce the bloodline by breeding back with their ancestors (wolves). However, both the German House and the Golden House were under punishment, and the Senate had prohibited any assistance. It was against this historical backdrop that Richter mentioned his son could not inherit.
-
At this point in time, Pigsirpoq is already the Emperor. However, something happened between them, causing their relationship to deteriorate severely, to the point where they no longer mention each other’s name.
-
Yes, that was the original plan, and Book 2 will explain its details. However, as we saw at the beginning of the story, something went wrong. Qana did his best to guide Richter.

Time crystal: An eternal, unchanging spiral, dancing in the chaos of entropy's retreat. "Consciousness union, more bluntly put, is the 'power of belief,'" I said as I dismantled the scale model of the Empire's Heart into its most basic components, including every drone, all the gas and liquid pipelines, various functional cabins, reactor modules, and engine units, before handing them to Luther. He took over, trying to reassemble the pieces. Throughout the process, he frequently scra

Piqsirpoq's quarters were on a higher floor, and Qana commanded him in an unquestionable tone to head up first. My brother glanced back at us a few times, his expression complicated, but he obediently stepped onto the stairs. Qana and I walked on in silence, but there were too many unspoken words between us, enough to suffocate. Before I could gather the courage to speak, Qana stopped. He placed a hand on my shoulder from behind and turned me around. The towering sword master gaze

Very briefly explain, a part of it was to avoid influencing Richter's decision, and another part was because the truth was too difficult to say. This will be explained more clearly in Book 2 (though I'll likely upload other works set in the same world first).

I was floating in an endless void. Qana had mentioned that this was a common experience for psychics, especially those who had the ability to enter the "Tel'aran'rhiod." Apparently, as a psychic, even sleep couldn't be a simple escape into dreams. I looked around, trying to determine if there was any concept of up, down, left, or right in this space, or even any kind of dimension. But no matter which "direction" I chose, there was only infinite darkness extending outward, leaving

So many mysteries... Since the truth is deeply entangled with the conflicts between various factions and involves unsettling revelations, it can only be gradually uncovered as the story unfolds.

I waited on the platform outside the concealed training space for the sword master, and in the meantime, I studied the shale structure of the exterior disguise in detail. I still couldn't find any gaps--it was an amazing design. Suddenly, I had an idea. Feeling a bit guilty, I checked the staircase to make sure the sword master wasn't nearby. After confirming the coast was clear, I returned to the hidden door and cleared my throat. "Qana Snow." I tried my best to mimic his impatie

Council: Pulling the strings from the shadows of the world. I woke up when my brother's teammates came in, but I decided to keep pretending to be asleep to avoid any awkwardness. See? I can read the room too sometimes. I closed my eyes and listened to the lively chatter, feeling as though there was an insurmountable chasm between us, one that I could only silently observe from the other side. My brother apologized for not being able to attend the final match, and the other

That's right, a long tongue is really useful! But sometimes, a little sting can be quite thrilling too!
-
After all, this work is still a novel primarily aimed at teens, so there probably won’t be anything too explicit. However, we will have a bonus chapter later... (At this pace, it might take about a month.) And I can confirm that the rumor

Richter couldn't resist the adorable black canine.
-
This ties into the core worldbuilding of the story. I'll explain it briefly:
-
Déjà Vu: Some things change, others never will. A faint vibration woke me up. I gently nudged Luther aside and sat up in bed. Even after all these years, I still wake up to the slightest sound. I glanced at the terminal on the charging pad, debating whether I should abuse my authority and pretend I hadn't seen it. But the caller ID made me drop the idea--it was Karl. "Hey, Chief Medical Officer," I greeted the elderly German Shepherd. "What's up..." "Don't you 'hey' m

I sincerely apologize, but Richter will never know the truth from his perspective. Those who do know will keep it from him, fearing that revealing it might jeopardize something even more important. However, if you're really eager for answers, I'll spoil it below. Clues will gradually be revealed as the story progresses, along with a more detailed explanation of the origins of this entire conspiracy.

I am a non-native speaker who heavily relies on ChatGPT for translation, and my proficiency is probably far from this level of fluency. Due to the severe decline in the Chinese-reading population, I have to find my own way forward. Moreover, since my subject matter is clearly not publishable on platforms managed by the People's Republic of China, I can only try English-based platforms.

There are certain specialized pieces of equipment that can render the wearer immune to the abilities of psychics. However, due to their extreme rarity, very few individuals possess them. All Senate wolves are potential targets, but at the moment, only the brothers from the Snow faction meet the specific criteria needed for this particular objective. That said, if necessary, any Senate wolf would suffice. The kidnappers fled in terror at the sight of Qana, so Winter Chill had no chance to be used this time. Explanation partial mechanismof complete adamantine weapons: Haha, sorry—my English skills aren’t that good, and 3,000 words of proofreading per day is about my limit. Thank you for your support! I’ll do my best to maintain both pace and quality!
-
The good news is that Qana's arrival left them with no choice but to flee. Without a massive, fully equipped army armed with specialized weapons, taking on Qana would be impossible.
-
Richter's perspective will never reveal the full picture or absolute truth of events. There are countless fragmented clues, and piecing them together is challenging—but not impossible. The true nature of this incident will only be uncovered in the independent stories of the other two characters .

Unexpectedly, I slept deeply. Maybe... some things from the past have finally returned to where they truly belong. I didn't even hear the sharp screams in my ears. No, perhaps I simply didn't care. Is this what it means to be cold? So, this is who I am. Oh well, as if I really cared. I opened my eyes and found a pair of deep blue, worried wolf eyes staring back at me. "Hey, kid," he said, feigning nonchalance, with a hint of a smile at the corner of his mouth. "How

For a moment, I didn't realize what I had done. It's not that I was unaware of the consequences--I knew exactly what would happen. I chose their deaths to prevent Piqsirpoq from meeting a similar fate. But... what I hadn't anticipated was the surge of emotions. Qana never mentioned it, but I should have guessed. It was something like a death tremor or a dying scream, resonating clearly through the conscious domain. All the waves were too weak to cause any effect in the physical sp
