I am liking the transition of Michael...he is growing up. Yes there is the possibility that he will go back to his old ways, but he is discovering a new way of relating to another man that even he realizes is different and positive. -
It's nice to see our hero growing up. Although he could backslide anytime, I suppose.

I really like how this series has developed. I'm finding bits of myself as a young man who grew up in the midwest and chartered my own escape to a major city to find like minds and bodies. I went east, but also visited the west especially SF. I escaped the cycle to grow up to be my older self. So many were lost. I love remembering that past. It was an important past.
