I am so pleased to have found that Kyle writes on this site. I have been an avid fan since he posted the first chapter of The Kandric Saga (on another site). I would like to make a small change to what Drsawzall stated: Truly a surrealistic dystopian view of a possible future we face as those who lead us, continue to talk to each other and not to each other. I think it should read ", continue to talk at each other and not to each other." Well done Kyle (I know this is a couple of years behind, but just found the story)

First... I've always hated cliff hangers, but this is eased in that this author isn't known for disappearing for months at a time between chapters... whew!! 2nd... I think you are all wrong in the next president... I had to go back and look, and no where does it mention that Ethan is one of the 7 nominees that were being voted on... Also, no where does the author invite the concept of our human response to the electoral process with a write in candidate, so I think that is out as well. Additionally, with Ethan's expanding relationship with Aiden and his growth in powers, plus being the new "troubleshooter" that can be flown to other packs, probably won't agree if "elected". I, personally, wouldn't mind seeing it happen, but I think it would degrade certain portions of this incredible storyline. Just my 2 cents...

I'm reading this for the 2nd time, so that I can bring myself up - to - date for GE2... Love this storyline, but found something I missed the first time around - that being, that the device used to convert DC to AC for the off the shelf gear is generally known as an inverter rather than the converter... Keep up the good work...

Outstanding story... I've just found this today, and imagine my surprise when I finished Chapter 9, and rated it 5 stars and decided to follow the story, that Chapter 10 had been posted! I think Darth will probably come back to haunt the Captain's leniency, and possibly become a problem for Gabe as well. I think Ryle will have to finish what he started, but will come out of the situation with more self esteem and better able to handle Gabe's love... Keep up the great work...

You had me going there for a minute, Mark!! After all the books and chapters that I've read, I thought for a bit that George had finally met his match... but then logic dictated that his story couldn't be at an end, and lo... Blayney arrives to save the day, sans mounts (xebecs don't count). Well done... anxiously awaiting the next exciting chapter in this great storyline. P.S. Wouldn't have bothered me if Her Ladyship hadn't had the scare of her life with a wandering arab showing up... and maybe Lord Elgin saving her sorry derriere and making her a little more beholden to the others and her mate.

See... I think that is so wrong... there is so much more to this story that needs to be told. I fully see a "Part 2" here, with Alek and Krilla becoming even closer, and Krilla beginning to top Alek, and lo and behold, Alek begins to develop fins and gills thru the genetic alterations that absorbing Krilla's love (didn't want to be crass here) would bring about. Then, the 2 of them begin the search for Atlantis, find it and live happily ever after, with Kinau as the palace chamber(mer)man! Of course, there would also need to be a trip to Finland to let Alek formally get his parents blessings, or at least inform them that he wouldn't be returning to school anytime soon... I'm sure you get the drift... Just a thought... I loved this story... ranks #2 for me after Born Wolf... Very well done... had me captivated from the first chapter and definitely wanting more

I looked at the title and the first thing to pop into my mind was RODEO!!! (so I'm with Sanguine on that), but then that covers 3 or 4 "events" in a rodeo, so that threw me... and I don't have a clue as to what song Lisa is talking about, but I was entertained, and so...I started reading the story and boy did my mind hit the gutter... and fast too... Then I got to the end and again, was "thrust" into the world of rodeo... successful ride between a cowboy and bull/bronc/steer/etc... the crowd cheering, the cowboy leaping off the animal and heading for the gate... And then, you threw me again... with the final words "in sport" and I was again confused... so, I have to ask... what sport?? other than rodeo events, use an 8 second timer?? Certainly not weightlifting (hold for 3), swimming is a no go, diving as well... Football, basketball, baseball and soccer are all out... so, please... enlighten me... Again, despite my confusion, I enjoyed the way you wrote it...

Wonderful beginning, though probably a one off... which is sad... there is development here that is waiting to be expanded... I've always enjoyed your style and method of writing, Graeme, and have been a fan thru Codey's World and others... The stereotype that I grew up with in the 70s, was that if you were named Mike, Steve or Richard and loved track lighting, you were obviously gay... and as it turns out, I've met many over the last 40 years, and the gay ones were 1/10th the total... seems the rest were married and their wives liked track lighting even if they didn't. Never let it be said that str8s don't know how to stay satisified in their bedrooms [Yes, dear!!, anything that makes you happy!]... =)

You had me going there for a bit... shame on you on the one hand, yet kudos!! on the other... great chapter!
