Yea, GPS devices no matter the brand end up giving additude about something. Back when I had my samsung phone with gps directions, it litterally got an additude if i took a wrong turn. It would litteraly say "Make the next LEGAL u-turn and proceed down blah blah blah." I found it quite funny because it would also say "Calculating NEW route" if I took the wrong way. I think the GPS devices can be mean lol, that or mine was because I tended to drop it. lol

In life, everyone comes to a crossroad and have to make a decision, and right now I have about three major ones. School Everyone says that the best way to get ahead in the world is through school. Well in my case, it's coming to the point of where am I going to go finish my school. The school by my house is offering ASL courses and Criminal Justice courses that transfer to anywhere in NJ, but the thing is, I don't want to spend my life in NJ getting my education, I auctually want to get out of here and goto a different state, (perferably one where there arn't that many idiots). I've been thinking Rochester Institue of Technology, Kutztown University, Penn State, and if I have to stay in NJ.... Rutgers University. Home My family is moving in the next year to two years and that puts me in a bind. While it gives me the edge to leave NJ, at the same time, I don't wanna leave my friends behind. It's a hard decision, but one I'm willing to make because I really need to get out of this godsaken place. I want to move somewhere nice, but idk where, and even if I want to move, I can't because of the lack of job that I have going for me. Job The job market sucks in NJ. I can't even get hired as a cashier at a foodstore or Target because i'm 'over-qualified' due to my management experience, and no one wants to hire a manager right now. So i'm in a bind where I'm doing odd jobs fixing computers, but it's not enough to save for a car or a place to live. Basically this is all going on at once and its driving me mad! I'm headin to bed now... night

Robbie... please please say your not back to using Windows ME! That's satans tool!!!!!!! If you want a good FREE operating system, use Mandriva... it has drivers for almost everything and its extremely easy to use (with the exception of my desktop which is running win2k server) I use it on my laptop and I got my dad to use it on his. Trust me... open source is the way to go! As Always!

i'm not sure about the voyager, but the blackberry maybe because some do run a windows os that you can download os software for. as with me, I love my sidekick because of the internet access that lets me read the hosted authors works (though efiction and the forums along with blogging are a pain to use on it).

There was a book reader released by amazon.com but i'm not sure of the name. I also know of one that Borders carries (not sure fo the name for that one as well). Personally, I liked using my old palm pilot (a zire 71) because I could download acrobat reader and read a ton of stuff using it. My best advice to you would be to goto a electronics store and see waht they have to say, or maybe even a book store and ask there as well. (But check out the reader on Amazon.com because I heard a lot of good things about it). As Always!

Hey guys, I figured I would make a blog about something really great that happened to me, becoming the new (and I believe first) live chat moderator. All this means for everyone is that i'm there to make sure things don't get out of hand. While I know that there isn't any specific rules for live chat (i could be mistaken but I didn't find anything on GA) I'm going to follow the rules of the site and apply them to Live Chat as best I can. Like any moderator, if you have any problems/concerns/questions/comments(good or bad) let me know in chat or you can PM me. I'm not going to be some overbearing person, but I will crack down if I need to. I'm also going to be in contact with other moderators so if I need help, I'll contact them as well. As of right now I can't access live chat until the wonderful wizard of GA casts a spell on my account to do this, but you will see me hopefully soon. As always!

It's been an intresting few days lately, one in which I spent a lot of time working with not one, but two computers, and little to no time writing and reading. I think it's a good thing because it gave me some time to exercise the brain (and to play with electrical things hehehe). I have my laptop which I'm going to mainly use to write and use when i'm away from home, and I have my desktop/server which syncs with the laptop so I can work at home and be able to work abroad . On top of that, I also have an external drive set to back up all of my files and such so I will never loose anything again Yes I know that the previous part was a bit techno geeky, so to fill in with my writing part, I'm working on a story that's taking up most of my time when it pertains to writing. Called State of the Mind, it's about a guy who gets attacked and when the ordeal is over with, he develops a few issues that prevent him from leaving his home until someone shows him that it's ok to. It's going to be filled with psychology, a bit of comedy, tension, and a major twist at the end. I was originally going to write it as a short story, but seeing as how i've already accomplised 8 pages and am nowhere near done with it, it's become a serial. I've also decided to, after thinking about it and listening to the feedback on Truthfully that I am going to take it down and rewrite it to make it more readable (without skipping major parts and such). Well there we go. that's all i have for now laters all!

news flash... CJ is pulling ahead by 1 vote! -
I tend to do a mess of things like read, write, or take a walk, and sometimes talk to my friends or do what I did about 2 days ago, Kill windows vista and redo my entire computer system (I now have 2 computers up and running and synced with each other one running windows 2000 and the other running linux). Even though I kinda missed out on the going ons of GA, I did get out a lot of stress because I proved I could do something that would be hard (you try setting up a SAMBA system having no idea what your doing lol). I guess what I'm trying to say is make a project for yourself that'll be challenging and when you're done, it'll be rewarding in the end and you'll feel better about it! As Always

Hmm... the perfect guy... that's a tough one to figure out... but i'll give it a shot... He has to be honest, never willing to lie He has to be there for me as much as I'm there for him He has to have a brain that he can use He needs to be able to keep up with me I need to be able to challenge him at every turn of the road We need to share in different hobbies and intrests I need to accept him for who he is He needs to accept me for who I am ....also he can't be a playa or a cheater

Well due to the fact that I finally switched to an open source operating system (yay Linux) I figured I would update my avatar to something I think fits me right now. Linux's mascot is a penguin, and well, he's packin some heat just like me when it comes to my new system lol. As always

I have to say when I first came to GA, I never though I would encounter a community quite like this, filled with lots of vibrant and creative people. From the authors to the members, it's something I'm proud to say that I belong to. I remember when I first came to this site, it was to read Desert Dropping (because Nifty Archives was weird in updating it). Then I stuck to reading DomLuka, and then I ventured into reading other hosted authors like dkstories, CJames, Comsie, Shadowgod and Don Hanratty. They're amazing authors all of them and they inspired me to get back into writing. About 2 months back, I finally became a member and began to post in forums. When i did, I was welcomed into this community open arms and I'm glad to say that I've gotten to know afew of the members, and even spoke to some of the authors, which to me is awsome Now that live chat is up, it's even cooler because I can interact with members and authors, get advice, and even have some good 'ol fun. It's helped me to get to know some of the authors better and helped me get ideas about what I want to write. It also showed me some other authors to check out. But I want to say I think it's time I gave back in some way to a place that's given so much to me. I plan on writing and contributing more, and hopefully can make a difference somehow.

Awesome! I think it's really neat how India had it's first march and was able to get it organized in under 2 weeks (mind blowing really!).
