If you don't know who the hell she is, I don't really blame you. The only way you'd know is if you were familiar with Nickelodeon and the WB programming during the first half of the 2000's. She was on your typical teen sitcom stuff, and made some typical bad teen comedies. Although She's the Man introduced us to Channing Tatum, so...hey. You can't say nothing good ever came out of her career.

Guys, I really honestly love the idea that Stefan's birthday is Bastille's Day, but because Stefan isn't about birthdays, JP has instead made Bastille's Day a covert way to celebrate Stefan's birthday without making him feel old. Awesome idea!

You know what, guys? I agree with you. Mark Arbour, I think Stefan's birthday is Bastille's Day, 1945. Is that okay with you? It works for the period of time in which Stefan and Annette were having sex, as well as Stefan being 16 in April of 1962. (If you guys are wondering, Mark usually has me set birthdays for characters that didn't specifically happen in the story, like Darius and George Granger. I picked January 10th, 1776 as George Granger's birthdate because it was when Common Sense was published.)

Still, it's kinda crazy that someone who loves to throw a party wouldn't throw one in honor for himself. He could do what someone I met once did, who always put 32 candles on her birthday cake. LOL. And even back in the Land Whore, when Stefan was still in his 20's, he didn't ever acknowledge his birthday. Although I guess you could say that Annette Bordet, being as poor as she was, just never really did the birthday thing for Stefan, and that's why Stefan never really got into the habit of celebrating them. Maybe that's the reason why Stefan treats other people's birthdays as a big deal- i.e. him flying people around for Will's 13th birthday, getting Alejandro and Casey matching cars for their 16th birthday, etc. Stefan's not comfortable celebrating his birthday, so he overcompensates and gives the real "Super-Sweet 16" to everyone else. ' But anyway, let's just go ahead and make July 1, 1945 Stefan's birthday. It's been bugging the hell out of me that Stefan doesn't have one, so let's make that his!

No. Stefan's non-birthday has been a running gag throughout the whole series. For a guy who loves a goood party and for someone who has been the protagonist a record-setting three times, its pretty amazing that we have never seen Stefan celebrate a birthday. I FINALLY decided on where I'm going, and that's Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I realized the only reason why I was considering Millersville was because it's only an hour away and I could take my car, and other than that, Millersville doesn't really offer a whole lot. Like it doesn't have graduate housing, and it doesn't offer a wide variety of classes. I'm a bit wary about the fact that it's 5 hours away from home, and I likely can't bring my car as my 1999 beater couldn't handle a 300 mile drive, but I think that might be a good thing. Funny how things work out. IUP was my second-choice, MU was first. But when I sat down with the advisor at MU, I realized that the program didn't really offer much to me. My mom told me, "I just want you to be happy, and go where ever you want to go", and I realized that I want to go to IUP. It's just going to be a real different kind of experience, but I'm excited. I'm sorta taking a big leap of faith, and I realize I could fall flat on my face, but hey- if I hate it there, I can always transfer, plus it's only two years anyways. And Indiana is the hometown of Jimmy Stewart, so...it's like I'm going to be around the real Bedford Falls. I can't wait for the first snowfall...I'd be running around, yelling "Merry Christmas, Bedford Falls!"
