Don't forget, you still gotta tack on Darius's graduation, which is either May or June 2000. So much of this story has been about getting older, and how a person tackles with getting older. In a thematic sense, omitting Darius's high school graduation would be glaring, because it's just as much of a milestone for a parent as it is for their child. And it's one of those, "Where did the time go?" type dealies, which again fits into the overarching theme of the story. As for the bi stuff, that makes sense. I grew up when people were openly discussing bisexuality in songs like ...I remember I knew what it was when I was like 10. I wonder if Will's going to tell Brad about how hot he thinks Josh Hartnett is. (To use a teen idol of that era. LOL.)

I think it's inevitable that it has to happen. You title a story "Millenium", it's important you get through important dates in the year 2000. Although I don't think we're going to see the 2000 election, but you never know....Be Rad covered January 1985 to September 1986, so it's possible we could see this story cover November-December 2000. The fall of 2000 might actually make a good separate story- like Wade drops out of the hockey club his junior year of college to campaign for Al Gore or something. And it looks like little Will is gay- those are pretty strong hints. Although did anyone else think it was weird that Brad never really considered the otpion of bisexuality? I feel like sexuality is so much more complicated than "straight" and "gay", and for someone who read about Steven Schluter's bisexual thoughts and desires, it seems funny that Brad doesn't consider it for either Will or JJ.

Chapter 14 -When Brad ponders the possibility sexualities of his two youngest kids, JJ and Will, and is sure that Will is gay. Who was that picture you posted? That's not Johnny Weir, Canuk. Plus that guy looks way too muscular to ever be a figure skater. And I don't think Mark means that JJ LOOKS like Johnny Weir, I just think he means that they have a similiar attitude and style. And JJ is a blond. In any event, we're talking a 13-year old kid, so I'm not really wanting to add "sexy" to how we describe him. Edited to add: It looks like the photo Canuk posted is of an ad that came up under the google image search of Johnny Weir, but most assuredly that is not an actual image of Johnny Weir. Tiger, my namesake in the CAP saga is a really prissy figure skater who has all the makings of being like a future Evan Lycasek. Deal with it. Actually, I do like JJ...he's just much prissier than I was at his age. Hopefully he'll grow out of it as he gets older.

I'm going to live in a small town called Indiana, PA for college this fall. It should be interesting, living the small town life and being an hour away from a big city. I'll be surrounded by a lot of forest, as its the Christmas Tree Capital of the World. I grew up in a small city called Wilmington, Delaware and the suburban areas surrounding it. For me, I like the hustle and bustle of a big, lively city like Philadlephia or D.C. I'm a night owl, so I really like a place with a bustling nightlife and 24-hour diners I can stop at and walk into. I also really love being surrounded by a lot of people- I find lots of people pretty interesting, and I LOVE looking up at tall buildings. i remember when I first went to NYC, and I was just amazed at all the skyscrapers and just loved it. But I do like nature as well. There's this great state park called Cape Henlopen in Delaware...absolutely amazing place.

Well, that's because we really haven't had a story fall on July 14th in awhile, Mark M. I don't think we're going to see July 14th in this story, either. I liked Brad realizing how silly and frivilous getting Sergio a car was by getting faced with people who were living on the streets/ Nice perspective for him.

I'm sorry to hear about that. My sister works as a nurse. When you're in a field that puts you close to people who died or are dying in a tragic way, you have to turn the button that makes you care off, or else you will go insane. It's sad, but it's what they have to do. There's no real silver lining here, as Mark said, but tragedy can often bring out the best in people. I'm betting your friend will be able to summon a personal strength and courage he never knew he had.

Okay, so I'm starting school over in western PA at this school called IUP, which is 5 hours away from home. It's pretty far out. I'm not taking my car, so it's not going to be the easiest thing to get a ride to and back. I recently found out that close to my hometown, and at my undergrad school, UD, there are plans to have Jason Mraz perform on September 28th, which is Tuesday. If I skip out on Monday and Tuesday classes, I could prolly swing going to the concert. So herein lies the dilemna. I REALLY want to see Jason Mraz. Like, I love that guy's music. But I also realize that if I'm serious about grad school, it might not be in my best interest to miss two days of school. Do you think if I notified my professors ahead of time that I was going to be back down home, and got the assignments and made sure I did them...it would make everything okay for me to miss school for a truly rewarding, one-in-lifetime cultural experience? *looks at Mark Arbour and Sharon with a hopeful puppy dog face* Hey, I bet you two would think this is a great idea, right?
