When I was 21, I thought I had it all figured out because I was an upperclassman, and that I knew what was what compared to those poor, foolish 18-year old freshmen. I thought no one could touch me. And then...well. I learned how wrong I was.

  14. Before I start, I've gotta note that YouTube has been pulling off music lately because of WMG copyright claims, so some of the links I've posted don't work anymore. If that happens, you have the title and the artist, so go crazy, alright? *wink* Chapter 28 Music Recomendations -When Mouse relates the abuse he's suffered at the hands of his parents. "Hell is For Children" by Pat Benetar I was so worried that this song might have been an '81 song instead of '80...you guys should've heard the "whoop!" I let out when I read that this was part of the Pat Benetar album that came out in August 1980. It was too perfect for that moment to pass up. -When Mouse is given his makeover at the Stanford Shopping Center. "Look Sharp" by Joe Jackson http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RtOilzTqcw Enjoy!

"Can We Still Be Friends?" by Todd Rundgren *** Hope you guys enjoyed it. I think my "discovery", aka a song I'd never really heard before but really like, would be "Can We Still Be Friends"? "Magic" by Olivia Newton John -When Brad and Robbie break down and admit how much they missed each other over the weekend, and talk about Doug and Jake. "Since You've Been Gone" by Rainbow -When Brad and Robbie kiss on the pier at San Francisco, where for that one moment everything is perfect... "Dreamin'" by Blondie
  21. Boy, is my face red. Anyways, just hope you guys enjoyed the selections. I'm really liking "Wait For Me", as I said before.
  22. Thanks. I did like that movie, only seen it once or twice. I'm a sucker for time travel movies. And coincidentally, I was born on Pearl Harbour Day as well as my grandfather, so yeah. LOL. Here are my chapter 17 recomendations: -When Brad and Robbie drive back, only talking at intersections. "Drive All Night" by Bruce Springsteen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yW4Fu0Lk23c Warning: This is a 10-minute version of the song from a concert in 1980. If you don't like the Boss, well... -When Brad and Robbie have sex, and Brad tells them they'll be a couple someday. "Wait For Me" by Hall & Oates http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLRHjcqY5bY -When Lark and Brad sleep together. "Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'" by Journey ****** I'd never heard of that particular H&O song, "Wait For Me". What a nice little gem! And pretty relevant to the scene I picked for it, don't you think?

Chapter 16 Musical Recomendations -When Brad wakes up to a gnarly hangover "Big Shot" by Billy Joel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5cuXFvPTY8 -The whole Yosemite trip "Too Much Heaven" by The Bee Gees http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sz9AlhvxLHs -When Brad tells Robbie about Lark on the drive back to Malibu "Hungry Heart" by Bruce Springsteen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=reix2lszTI4

  25. *shrugs* Dunno. I've had a couple of dates in my life, but so far it's all been hookups. No one wants to be serious when you're in college, especially gay guys, so...there you go.
