[DomLuka] Domluka's Extreme Hiatus
Rad replied to NaperVic's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
I used to check GA every two or three days just to see if there were updates on any of Dom's stories. Then he went on hiatus...late last year I was ecstatic. I thought he was back. Then he disappeared again.... Nobody knows where he is or even if he's okay? -
Chapter 6: April Fool's Day
Rad commented on Mark Arbour's story chapter in Chapter 6: April Fool's Day
Oh lol....I was gobsmacked! Nice April Fool's Day joke Mark! I see some people here can't take a joke! -
I voted for Will But I'd go for JJ too His bitchiness can probably be cured by a night of hard sex with Gathan
-
When you were 12 I'm sure you knew when you should apologize. When I was 12 I knew that too. Knowing and too afraid to do it are two different things. Which one is John? As I said, I'd prefer to see Will ending up with Gathan
-
I hope Zach will not be Brian too...so he won't be "put down"...that was one of the regrets I have Brian went to the dark side. As for John, why pick a two-timer who never said sorry when you can get an honest guy?
-
Can't see why Will should be the one who makes the first step at repairing the friendship. He's not at fault, John is; and he never makes the first steps at repairing the friendship doesn't he? NEXT chapter PLEASE!! A.S.A.P I'm dying of curiosity!

I think this is the first time that I read a dual narration in any of Mark's stories. Of course I've been dreading Mark's stories only from "If It Fits" so I might be wrong. Regardless...I hope that Will and Gathan can be a couple. Why? Because Gathan for all his swagger is a nice person. He's...well honorable. He guards the feeling of people. He slept with Stef. Yeah, but he promised Will nothing. Will is a guy whose words are his bonds. I think Gathan is someone like that too. As for John...Will's last thought bother me so much. He never apologized, never even attempt to do it. He's...well, he doesn't seem to care about Will's feelings. I hope Will's not going to end up with him. John's seduced? Well, at the VERY LEAST apologize. No matter how empty that would sound back then, it would give Will some food for thought. But John never did didn't he? Gathan...should beat the shit out of Zach for ruining other people's lives. BTW I wonder if John and Zach are f**king each other ever since?

I understand that death is more common back then. But some of them are, well...for example Michal. Why must he die? It was so heart-wrenching. He was so full of life and then he died. It was just, well, it seems like a waste for me.

So I have read the Bridgemint series. All of them. I find this a masterpiece! Not only because the wealth of characters in it and the way Mark tells the story, but also because of the background of this story. I mean, late 18th century Napoleonic war? WOW! Not to mention the knowledge of life on the high seas, the habits of that time and the names of the things that were once back there. Groug, grout, etc. This story must have required substantial research! As it is however, I am distressed by the deaths and injuries in this series. The deaths of people like Shafte, Grafton, etc and the injuries suffered by Cavendish are, well, disheartening to say the least. I find myself alarmed at any new people who gets close with Granger because I think that sooner or later their number will be "up" and they will be either dead or crippled :( Can't Mark do something? Limit the deaths of people we like or something like that? This series has been an emotional roller coaster....

Boy Toys: How Old Should They Be?
Rad replied to Mark Arbour's topic in Mark Arbour Fan Club's Topics
If I was a 65yo or older and can afford a boy toy, I'd pick them as young as I can legally have them As dreams go, why not go for the best? -
Would You Follow A Straight Narrator?
Rad replied to methodwriter85's topic in Mark Arbour Fan Club's Topics
I would rather follow a gay narrator tho. but will take whatever mark offers -

-
okay...I'm sure that Dom will resolve the difference between Owen and Aiden. But... It worries me and it makes me sad to see the two of them so sad Aiden's moving...Owen's pretty much dying inside, etc. It's just so sad...this chapter is so sad I hope the next chapter will be happier

Wow...got cut off from internet last week and I have this many chapters to read So, where to begin? Amber's gone? Good riddance Cheating on her boyfriend was nasty enough. Pushing his boyfriend to attempt suicide went too far. I'm glad everyone turned their backs on her. Cole...was wounded but alive. I'm glad he's alive although I felt as if Matt was cheated of his chance to see Cole grovel. But then again...someone like Cole is like a trapped steam. One explosion was enough... The shit about him and Cody (and Brian) eyes rolling... Well, was glad that the two of them sort out their differences. At the very least now they now where they stand (or, rather, where their dicks stand ) Brian's getting bitchy again...well, what a bitch. Probably he and Amber should hook up, they're both bitches The sentence from JP about Brian: "He doesn't request, he demands" I can't forget that. Apparently Brian's elevation from having nothing to wanting nothing got into his head... Too bad with that. He thinks what he has is his by birthright I still like the Brian we knew before all this shit hit the fan. I hope Brian will realize his mistake. NOW for Matt and Danfield... I guess I can understand why Danfield acted like that. With his dad catering to homophobic folks and him being conditioned to "behave" himself since early age...well I guess some damage has been made. Funny thing is, Matt had been conditioned too. But in his case, Matt seems to be okay with everything. All and being gay is alright with him. Eventho his parents are probably as homophobic as Danfield's But yea, if I was Danfield I'd probably do the same. One of my best friends figure out I'm gay and in the closet? Wow, I have SO much to lose. He might hate his dad, but he still isn't strong enough to stand on his own. Unlike Matt and his trust fund. I hope I can see them kiss and make up without being interrupted by their parents. :king:

oh wow! The Advocate huh? I like it soooo much how Cole drives Dale crazy From the kiss, the tease, the flat-out come ons Especially the scene in the gym, hehehehe I have to say, I found the political background of this story is fascinating too. You always have the "touch" Dan, bringing politics down to earth All I say is that I would HATE to read the part where those two break up
-
NOOOOOOO!!! :,( Matt can't have Cole as his sex slave :,( Not after this I was hoping...that it'd be a raunchy affair (sex++) Amber is a B******TCH! :pissed: I SO totally agree with Stef! Justice, sometimes, NEEDS prodding :battleaxe: I hope in the next chapters we'll see how the event with that skank unfolds! I hafta say that I don't think that Matt's gonna go with Danfield. The two of them have too many baggage. Of course, if Danfield's dad turns out to be Dick Cheney-like (supporting a gay offspring) But I guess Cheney's not a pretty good example So yeah, wanting for more
-
I've read 'till chapter 7! I really like it that Dale, little by little, regain his old self back I have to say that I agree with Jeremy. Why Cole? He has everything. Okay, so I guess Cole probably feels "something" for Dale too. Eventhough I'm not sure what that is right now But I think it might be better if Dale ends up with Jeremy I mean, he's hot. Nice, and they've known each other for the longest time Oh, and I can't wait till Glenn tries to sleep with Cole
-
It can't be That Amber B**********TCH! Skank! Whore! :pissed: As for Cole Bros before hoes I mean, it started sooo good Amber was nice. Cole was great. And now? I don't know which one I hate the most. Ambitch or Coledumb I agree with Stefan. When shit hits the fan, Matt shouldn't just accept Cole back. That boy needs to be taught a lesson NOT to throw away friends like that. I'm thinking about Cole being Matt's slave for a month or so. You know, servicing Matt whenever he feels the urge Naked at all times in their room Get him to a semi-public place naked and f**k him there The possibilities are ENDLESS HOT sex with Turner I know Matt is addicted to cock But that makes Matt, Matt

So it has come to this I felt sorry for Brian, in a way I can understand JP's reasoning. I also still remember the sweet Brian we met near the end of If It Fits. Where has that guy gone? I truly hope that the family hasn't written him off for good. What Stef said about Brian in, effectively, exile until he can be a productive member of the clan gives me hope Reading the last two chapters, it was easy for me to get lost. I thought that Matt shouldn't be sleeping with Cody since now him & Brian are together. But then again...that was what Brian did. What is more, I REALLY thought that Brian & Matt made their peace earlier in the story. But then Cody ruin it? So I was thinking that Brian didn't bear the full guilt on this. Ah well...that dude broke his part of the bargain, yes... And Cody wasn't as stupid as going against Brad who is, after all, the son of JP. The showdown was quite emotionally exhausting I hope we can see Brian again when he's sobered up
-
well, I know that he's gonna die anyway Still didn't make it easier. On second thoughts, I think I'd prefer if Mark never introduced him into the story either Ah well...can't be helped I guess. Anyway, the sex was amazing Why was Danfield sleeping outside btw? Oh, and Brian is STILL a douchebag...although I can't just blame him since I think Cody was the one initiating everything.

First, welcome BACK! Second, bummer... I always hate breakups. But then again, some people has to kiss frogs before meeting the prince. Granted, it sucks that Cray was left for someone else. But at least it happens now. Not ten or more years down the road. Hey, I'm trying to find the silver lining here Also, if I were Cray, I'd threw that b*llsh*t "let's be friends" crap. No way! If they broke up amicably or at LEAST there was no third party involved, then it might be possible. BUT, if Cray wanted to be friends with Michael even after being cheated upon and DUMPED than Cray has no self respect... Asians would keep up appearances for appearances sake and devise ingenious face-saving techniques (I'm southeast Asian ) Meeting someone who stole your boyfriend doesn't fit into any face-saving technique. Unless it's unavoidable...which pretty much means that you're gonna have to keep up appearance Cut off loses, cut off contacts and DON'T be friends
