Well, obviously, Cole is going to get it at some point. He'll probably catch her screwing some other dude. Then, again obviously, he's going to feel like such an asshole...which he is, obviously. He will apologize to Matt in front of the whole hockey team and ask for forgiveness. We're talking here about eating a huge plateful of crow with humble pie for dessert. Matt will forgive him and get him re-instated on the team, using JP's influence if he has to. As for Amber-skank, she'll be thrown out of Stanford when it surfaces that she has been prostituting herself around campus...or something like that. As for Matt and Wade... Now that would be fantastic!!! But I don't think it will happen. I believe he's basically straight. Snugling with a guy doesn't make you gay. Wade has simply grown very fond of Matt. Who wouldn't!

So if the scene betwen Matt and Turner was filler, I'll take filler every time. That was totally hot. The dinner scene at Escorial was just hilarious, particularly the big mouth line. Cole's reaction was so predictable. Poor smuck. He'll get over it and will be better off for it. Hopefully, his relationship with Matt will still be intact. Frank spoke in this chapter. Busy weekend. Just read chapters 23 and 24. The family drama stuff was great as usual. Go, Brad, you're the man. Best line was Jack calling Matt a slut! Great comments from everyone!

Frankly, the Cody-Matt-Brian thing is becoming quite tiresome. They're stuck on replay or something. It's all about imaginary hurt - it's become all ego. Ego sex generally sucks, it's just bravado and leaves you feeling empty and alone.

The last time you rejected me, you offered solace by saying something like "if you were in your 30's". Now you've moved up to the 40's. My plan is working!

This is all heady stuff for a 19-year old. Everyone except Granger believes he's likely to be a Captain before he turns 20. So Granger and Calvert will remain entwined at least until their return to England. I dread the day that Granger might have to choose between Travers and Calvert. Chapter 28 was superb! Lots of action! It's one thing to be pompous...actually both the French and the English excel at it but to be pompous when several canon are pointed at your ass....well, that's just dumb. And Fitzwilliam brought up his rear....I mean, the rear. Kudos to Humphreys for his successful landing party! Perhaps Fitzwilliam will offer his rear in celebration. Unfortunately, they're both busy right now sailing the captured brigs back to the fleet.
