  1. Double The Trouble. Chapter 23. Five minutes after last bell the whole team was loaded into the school minibus and heading for Banks High School with coach driving. "Yo Andy!” Peter was surprised at the friendliness of the welcome, and then there was chaos as thirty-five guys tried to grab a spot in the change room. The guy calling out had a build almost like Marty’s and was making his way towards them. "Yo! Ass features! Have you learnt to swim yet?" This brought general laughs and jeers
  2. Double The Trouble. Chapter 22. Coffee woke Peter in the morning. The smell of it plus his big toe being wriggled. "Come on lazy head. You can't sleep all day." "Mmm. Yes I can." The sheet started inching its way towards the end of the bed where Matthew was standing. Peter let it, and looked at Matthew with a sleepy smile. "You just want to perve at me?" Matthew nodded then grinned cheekily as he gathered the last of the sheet. "Beth's bringing you toast with spaghetti and melted cheese
  3. Double The Trouble. Chapter 21. Marty must have wondered what was going on. In the car on the way to the pool Andy kept calling him sweetie and telling Peter to give him a cuddle. When they saw Matthew he called him sweetie as well and gave him a very blatantly friendly hug. Marty was shaking his head and saying Andy was having a normal loony attack, while Matthew looked straight at Peter, who gave him and nod to say ‘Yes, Andy did know, and yes it was all okay’. For whatever reason, Andy sa

    Chapter 1

Oh my, and Andy is one of the good guys. I hope you continue to enjoy the story, though I'll have to warn you that Andy gets up to many more devilish tricks.
  5. Double The Trouble. Chapter 20. "Hey, big boy! Dad’s cooking breakfast. Do you want a quick shower?" Peter opened his eyes just in time to prepare himself as a towel clad body descended on his stomach. "Gah! Help! Murder! What a way to wake someone up." “Get used to it. I have to do things or you’d sleep in till it was time to go to bed again." Matthew was referring to the tickling he was giving Peter. Peter wriggled to make himself more comfortable, pulled Matthew over and held him down.
  6. Double The Trouble. Chapter 19. Peter had a great sleep, and they spent the next morning in the surf and lazing on the beach. This was the second time they'd been here with no one else turning up and they were all falling in line with Andy's thinking when he kept referring to it as ‘our beach’. At eleven thirty an impatient Marty was trying to hustle everyone along so they'd be at the restaurant by twelve. That all worked out and Amy spent the rest of the afternoon with them again. The time
  7. Double The Trouble. Chapter 18. Beth arrived home not long after Peter and they talked about their respective days, Matthew's music, and quite a bit about how their finances were going. They were just packing the last of the tea things away when there was the sound of a vehicle coming into the driveway and then a car door slamming. That was puzzling because no one was expected and they both headed for the door. It was Matthew with a grin about a mile wide plastered over his face, and Rob a
  8. Double The Trouble. Chapter 17. Peter's first race was the hundred metre side-stroke and he couldn't believe it when he came second. He'd beaten everyone, except Matthew, and the smiles and congratulations when he sat down with the team felt great. As time went on the smiles got bigger and the congratulations stronger. All Matthew's predictions were happening and Peter came second to Andy in the back straight, second to Brent in the breaststroke and first in the side stroke. The whole thing w

    Chapter 1

Sheba! This is a beautiful story. Thank you.
  10. Double The Trouble. Chapter 16. "Your place? ...I am?" "Yes, and then we'll organise something tomorrow." "Organise what?" "I don't know. Like I said – something." "Crazy." But that was exactly why Peter liked it. When they reached Matthew's house they had a quick drink before heading to the bedroom. Peter switched the light on but Matthew turned it off straight away. What was he doing now? The curtain runners scraped, bright moonlight streamed through the screen door which then also
  11. Double The Trouble. Chapter 15. "What are you doing? Trying to see who can take the most photos?" "Dad said we could have his camera whenever we like and Peter has never used a digital one before, so we’re trying to fill it by the end of the day." "It must be full by now?" "No, there's still over fifty left. We’ll take some more after school too." After school Peter and Matthew looked for Phillips so they could lock the camera in his car during training rather than leave it lying around i
  12. Double The Trouble. Chapter 14. "As many hundred percenter laps as I can? Matthew, I'll drop dead at the end of it." "Good, it'll get you strong won't it? I'll watch you when I can but it's getting complicated." That was for sure. Peter was starting to think Matthew was taking over coach's job, what with helping himself and Phillips, Andy with his backstroke, and Marty with the butterfly. They'd come straight from their hard maths class and beaten most everyone else to the pool. Phillips wa
  13. Double The Trouble. Chapter 13. The speed trials were very exciting. Coach had it all organised to run like clockwork, and when you weren't in something you were most likely helping. There was a stopwatch for every lane so that each swimmer’s time could be noted, and since there were fifteen guys in the team there were occasions when some events had two heats. Peter didn't win any of the five events he was in but he still felt great with a very close second behind Phillips in the fifty metre

    Chapter 12

Thanks again AnytaSunday, Lol. Sorry about the waiting - I can hardly keep up with the editing as it is. Lots more dynamics keep happening with various characters. Enjoy!
  15. Double The Trouble. Chapter 12. *** Guess what? You're coming for tea tonight before we go to the movies again." "Neat. What time should I get here?" "Not just you. Beth too. Dad will pick you up at six." They were standing at Matthew's front door so Peter said he’d better check if his mum could come. "I'll come with you so she can't say no." Peter was almost certain she wouldn't say no but he thought it was a clever idea. "How come Beth's driving us? We were going to walk." "She's co
  16. Double The Trouble. Chapter 11. Peter and Matthew finished their training early the next day and were showered and dressed by the time the other team members started to arrive. The walk to Matthew's place passed in a flash because they were both in a talkative mood and then when they reached the house they started on school-work and kept on right through till eleven o'clock with only a stop for their meal. Rob brought some supper up for them and told them to stop working before their brains
  17. Double The Trouble. Chapter 10. They found a spot on the crowded beach and collapsed for a few minutes to get some energy then Matthew got up. "Let's walk to the car. I need a drink before anything else." With protesting muscles they made their way, Peter wondering what Matthew must feel like, then grabbed the last bottle of ginger beer, a couple of cans and their towels before returning to the beach. They talked their efforts over but it wasn't long before Peter let his eyes close and h
  18. Double The Trouble. Chapter 9. "I'm starving." "I’m wrecked. This is hard work." "I'm cold. Why don't they heat the ocean?" There was enough incentive finally built up to leave the beach and when they reached the station wagon they were amazed to find it was half past six. They pulled their cargoes and t-shirts on and headed for the hamburger place they'd been persuaded to try when Peter told them how good it was. "Hey look, I want to see that. And it's on tonight." They'd stopped at

    Chapter 4

Lots of posts - roughly every second day. Yes, the waterfall does exist and is fairly similar to the description in the story. I hope I can keep you looking forward to more. The skylaks continue, but some drama enters the story as well.

    Chapter 3

I hope you enjoy the 'ride'. There is lots more of the 'horseplay' and Peter bears (I could say 'bares') the brunt of it.

  23. Double The Trouble. Chapter 8. During the next week Peter’s routine started sorting itself out. On Mondays after training he went to Marty's to help Andy and Marty with their maths. Then again on Wednesdays he helped them from seven till eight at Andy's place. He and Matthew made plans to work together on Tuesdays and Thursdays, choosing either home as suited the occasion, and both their parents were very keen on the idea. Rob said on Tuesday that he and Matthew owed Peter big time for the he
  24. Double The Trouble. Chapter 7. "It's a pest, and dad's going to get it changed sometime. Do you want a shower? I always have a quick one so I feel fresh in bed." Peter didn't really want one, but he had it anyway to fit in with the way Matthew did things. He soaped his head then used the suds to give a quick clean off for the rest of his body and was out in three or four minutes. It sounded like that was what Matthew meant. After drying himself he wrapped the towel round his middle, gathered
  25. Double The Trouble. Chapter 6. In the morning Peter couldn't wait to see Matthew and they met when the first bell rang. There was no school assembly so they had time to catch up on everything before their first class. "Guess what Peter? You're coming to my place tomorrow night. And you'll have to eat my cooking because dad often gets home late on Fridays." This was quite exciting for Peter and he wanted to quiz Matthew about it, but he had his own exciting news. "Well, guess what Matthe
