  1. I vote for the Lewinski blow in her job! Impeachment is not very often in the U.S. and it could cover very nicely the background story like O.J. case did now.
  2. I'm also in that crowd who don't want any of the CORE family dead. Jim and Rich Cramptons were added lately as I suspect but their death wouldn't have such effect but it wouldn't be reasonably justified and Mark, you've gone far in your writing to write any far-fetched twists. So hurt them anyhow you want but please, don't kill them.
  3. I really enjoyed reading this part of that story! And I'm really looking forward for a sequel - I'd so much enjoy the last chapter or better said that encounter between Cody and Brian from Cody's point of view! If he is the narrator of the sequel (I know, he's not Crampton nor he's coming from Claremont but come on! with his ability we could have so much fun!), so if he is the narrator, he could for example think back at that moment when they met... ;) (I hope so many winks is sufficient. ) It would certainly explain what exactly was Cody looking for and what he had found in Brian, what he saw in Brian's spirit. Now there are three new chapters from the British Navy! Yay! Coming back from holidays has something about it! :-)
  4. I'm sorry to be the nit-picker but I have two questions: 1) Was Brian originally written as JP's son? Two people are usually not THAT similar like JP and Brian are depicted unless they are twins. Even if they have the same parents, there are some differences when they are born with some time interval. So unless Bill and Grandmaman hid somewhere in Penn another evidence of their love (and they weren't written as father and son), I don't understand why these two people, one some 36 years older than the other, are so similar - "because of the same father" is not enough. 2) When Bill's sons are so similar that they look like each other why anyone in Claremont didn't notice the ressemblance between Bill's sons and JP - I suppose he had some with his lawful wife as well... I think I read something that Bill has some sons when JP went to talk with him - but I'm not sure. Otherwise, it's a very nice twist.
  5. That means we can expect it real soon? ;-D
  6. why thanky you, you charmer! ;-D My age is on the side of this box and I don't need to think of any extra years. Moreover, I start to feel OLD! But I hope there is still life after 25, so I have no choice but reconcile with my age. ;-D well, as for the sex in the story, do I really need to put that right?
  7. Yay! Great chapter! Really enjoyed reading it. But... NO SEX? Really? What happened? On the other hand, sometimes the storyline has to move...
  8. If it fits or not, that is the question... I need my regular fix, where is it?!
  9. Well then I don't get it what I did that I have that Warn status line under my name.
  10. it happens
  11. But there surely is some warn status when you use F word - it could be inherent with the system of the discussion fora. If I read the Rules properly I wouldn't get one.
  12. Am I the only one that noticed Alejandro's visit with father as suspicious? Nobody has mentionned that so far. He once offered his help if could do anything - and the only thing he can do is discuss this with daddy... So I'm really looking forward to something spicy!
  13. Thanks very much for such an early posting of the new chapter! There's another cliffhanger, although not so big, so I'm really curious how you'll handle that issue. There was a lot of films dealing with things like that, so it'll be nice to see the Crampton-Schluter solution... ;-)
  14. It was only the information leak (and it wasn't the first one) that I was upset about. I understand that about Music Recommendations and all. You know, sometimes when a story is really good and you get upset about something in it, you get upset also because someone knew before you, I don't know why. But that's why the "spoiler alerts" were invented, isn't it?
  15. Well now I hate these information leaks suggesting someone knows something the others, mere mortals, don't know. Now we all know, I suppose, so I'm waiting...
  16. Yeah! I'm quite curious about the choice for the last part of the story!
  17. And how am I supposed to make it through the night?! After such a cliffhanger! I shouldn't have read it. I should have gone sleeping to be fresh tomorrow for the tests but no, I had to read the new chapter. Now I'll have to wait for the next chapter until Saturday morning at least! Damn, I'm without the internet this weekend! ...so this was what flew my mind before getting here. OK, that remark above is somewhat reassuring but Mark, you can't do this to me very often! Remember your readers became emotionally attached to your characters. Because of you! And how beautifully they were written... As for Bruno, we can say he's a bastard (I hope such words are allowed here, last time I got that Warn Status for the F word...) but it also seems that he only took his chance from the situation. And what once seemed to be good for Max' psyche and self-confidence now caused its total destruction... quite interesting indeed. And as for me, totally unexpected. I let Mark pull my leg... And also it was quite interesting how quickly Marcel went for drugs to deal with his issues. He seemed to me to be a strong personality... I'd understand his need to drown his sorrow in alcohol but why drugs? And I must say (although I'm some ten years younger "in real" than him I still compare him with me, because now-in 1995 he's around my age) it's mid90s, it's another era (than 1968), people knew about drugs and how dangerous they are - it wouldn't come to my mind to deal with this by using drugs. But it may be counted to the "rich people" effect - you have money for that and you try everything because you're bored, desperate, whatever...
  18. :nuke: Spoilers! :nuke: (if you are catching up) LOL! "Take the building and forgive him." is the line of the day!
  19. yeah, a really cool chapter :-) As it may not seem authentic to that period of time I think Caroline will understand if George confides her the true nature of the best friendship of his. She seems to me to be very... understanding? :-)
  20. I don't think Stef would put all his money on one project, even of it would be so alluring as dot.com companies at those times. He's older now, more experienced and I think he would risk less, he also has other ways how to spend money and other people to take care of (with his money), so he wouldn't risk. Moreover if he really stays with JP (reminding we're about in the half of the story and as it was shown in Greg's case, one chapter doesn't really make a definitive conclusion), so if he stays with JP, he'll be secured by his money as well. So there's not much chance to impoverish Stef... But as I recall, Stef invested in some IT company at its beginnings, didn't he? So isn't he supposed to have some money from their profit now? He had some shares in it.
  21. well you know, we say "Even a small clown can make a big performance" but regarding your stories, YEP, I'm a size queen never have enough siiigh... I'm spoiled! glad to hear you're re-writing that bad ending (no matter why it was bad) now you don't want to be flamed alive (again ) for some inadvertency, do you?
  22. well... here it is... I must admit I grew fond of Cody and his "special ability" (more likely a lot of experience), it gave the story some special flavour, some icing So what about this poor guy? There were some hints though, but it makes another one left-out... We have an odd number of men! We need another hero! On the other hand the whole chapter was marvelous! But it seems that As it fits will end soon... another short short story? Mark what's happening to you? Where are those 30, 40-chapter long stories?
  23. f**k JP! Let Stef be with Cody! ;-)
  24. In what gallery? :-) There are no photos on your profile! ;-)
