Ummm.... you know, there's age when certain things cease to function altogether, or their functionality is severely hampered.... All good bottoms know that theirs does not always necessarily have a hard-on - even if desired. But, elderly, decrepit men have often serious trouble with all that in theur sixties... and it's an old goat whose is hard in his 80s when needed. Remember that it's not sufficient that it's hard occasionally instead it needs to be hard when there's that younger woman receiving it (= when needed), and it needs to stay hard as much as some minutes... the mental pressure is also a factor... then, production of sperm is drastically decreased towards decrepit age... So, when you talk about 80s and 90s, such is so very rare that the realism (of a conception) is challeged...

I tend to think that at that stage and at such an age, I will have maturer things. Not some quest for lost youth. And not some desperate struggle to delude that an old guy is as a teenager... I have heard that those who practically lost their youth, to something or other of the repression or whatever, may easily fall to a lifelong pretension mode... And, of course, Viagra has its customers. But I have thought that such actually is more usual in those generations which had yet 'sodomy' as crime, or other serious repression. One thing is certain: after 20 years, those who are on this site, are 20 years older. To some, it may mean they are in grave at that time. A 60-yo man now will either turn 80 at that time, or grow plant feed...

weelll, there's also the thing called cognitive dissonance. Older guys in this site may well say that they are sexually active [most of them have their hands still left ]. And many of them may say that they have sex. And... were I to make a study about that, I would not be satisfied with assurances from the elderly, possibly decrepit respondents to the query. Also some actual evidence would be needed, for validation.

TIME PASSED IN THE PAST Actually, these inconsistencues with chronology are things which seem to happen not too rarely to writers. There are people who do not grasp even the point that time really passed also in the past. For example, Gustav II Adolf and the Thirty Years' War was not the same time (and people) as, say, the wars of Frederick the Great. Then there are people who grasp that time passed in the past too, and have characters to have a changing lifespan. But many of those still make inconsistencies with their chronology. Such as, a character from someone's childhood, to appear again and be more or less the same when thirty years have passed in the 'main' storyline. And, there are better writers yet: they understand enough to have made that side character also to have advanced. But, a minor inconsistency would be if in the span of thirty years, such character got only ten years older...
