  1. Hehe. Nothing warms my heart like happy dancing. I'm so glad you're enjoying and rooting for Pasha

    Prologue

I'm sorry I missed this. Oh yeah, for sure. Radu (as he is now) is SUCH a pompous hypocrite. I guess when you're a few thousand years old you get quite jaded and cynical, and hypocritical He definitely thinks he's better than everyone else

    Prologue

Thank you I hope you enjoy. I had great fun writing this one.

    Chapter 13

There is no doubt at all that until this point the twins have been badly let down by just about everyone in their lives so far. Alicia is the closest thing to a friend they have, but even she has had a foot in both camps. Change is coming and coming fast, but change is hard! I agree about that therapist. We haven't seen the full extent of the damage done yet.

    Chapter 13

I think that's slightly overboard. She definitely needs to be taken down a peg or two but not sure it's time for euthanasia yet. There are definitely many people out there who identify with Aria, myself included and it's sad that so many find it so hard to accept and admit. I'm sure Aria will find the support he needs, once he lets go of his mother.

    Chapter 13

Thank you! I hope you enjoy the rest of the story. Feel free to comment or ask questions. If you have any inventive ways to kill someone and dispose of the body I'm sure they'll be well received by the blood thirsty lot that comment.

    Chapter 13

Mothers are tricky at the best of times but famous diva ones are the stuff of nightmares. Especially this one!

    Chapter 13

It's a difficult situation to find yourself in as a therapist though, don't you think. The issue of confidentiality is a minefield at the best of time but it's even more so with minors. At what age should a therapist stop talking to a parent? Also, given Momma Bear's hold on Aria it is very likely he'll have given permission for the therapist to talk to her. As for the advice and assistance the therapist gave, well that's another story.

Hehe. Remind me to never get on the wrong side of you

    Chapter 13

You're more than welcome. I love to write and I love it even more when I know people read and enjoy. Your feedback means the world to me so it I who should be thanking you I completely agree with your definition of Mother Bear. She's a nightmare and is going to get so much worse - I know, you;d think it impossible, right? Wait until you see what she does about the party!!

    Chapter 13

That's been the big issue for the twins, especially Aria, in that the issue of confidentiality when there is a minor involved is a tricky one. The line isn't quite as clear cut as with adult patients. When parents are pushy, especially when they're paying the bills, there tends to be a considerable blurring of the lines and there are no hard and fast rules for a therapist/psychologist/psychiatrist to stick to. It's pretty much all discretion. Add to that, the fact that Aria would very probably have given permission for the therapist to discuss everything with his mother, with only minimal pressure from her. Amara is a different matter and it would have been more difficult for a therapist to discuss him with his mother if he told them not to. That being said, an unscrupulous therapist would go ahead anyway and there's little anyone could do about it. I totally agree that Farm Maid is pretty much certifiable.

    Chapter 13

Giving a little cry of distress, Amara pushed past Drew and sat next to Aria. He didn’t touch him or say anything, just sat next to him shoulder-to-shoulder, drawing up his legs in the same way. “It might have been nice to give me some warning. Just so I could not have hot coffee in my mouth when I heard.” The tiniest ghost of a smile crossed Aria’s face. “Sorry.” Amara shrugged. “Meh. It was terrible coffee. Drew made it.” Aria raised his gaze and gave Drew a faint smile. “I’m s

    Chapter 33

I don't think either Cal or Jayden were in a place to be married just yet, but who knows what might happen. The world is their oyster. Thank you so much for reading and commenting. It means a lot to me.

    Chapter 23

The problem is that I have never been to Africa (and will never go because it would mean getting on a plane of which I am deadly afraid) and I don't know anything about it. I'd need to research terrain, where and how people live, customs, language. My books are set in the UK because that's where I live and what I know. For the same reason I don't set my books in the US or Finland or Australia. Have you thought about writing a story set in Africa. I'm sure you could make it very rich in culture and character. There are many people who would read it, for sure.

    Chapter 15

Aw honey, no, I'm not a psychiatrist Ive just had the opportunity to watch people for a very long time. As a solicitor I got to see the games people play and how low some can go. I know my stories are dark, that's what I am and that's what I write, but I do try to give them all happy endings. Jayden is a tortured soul, but he, too will find his happy place in the end. Enigma was such a labour of love for me. I engaged with the characters deeply. If you haven't read II you've missed some of my absolute favourite characters, but you're right, it's dark and there is death. That's life. On the other hand, River and Silver come out of it with a new man in their lives and some extremely good friends. I'm on book VI at the moment, with the possibility of another. You've been reading all the really dark ones :D. Well, most of them are dark but some are darker than others

    Chapter 12

There's always hope. I do tend to torture my boys but I always give them a happy ending - when I don't kill them first

    Chapter 12

Me too Well, apart from one or two slips into the realms of total fiction, this is kind of real world but I think you're thinking in slightly the wrong direction. Now I've definitely said too much. the rest will be revealed at the party - if they ever get there.

  21. Nephylim

    Chapter 12

Oh, big scenes. Very big scenes. Huge scenes. Aria is very lucky. He has Amara, even though the next chapter is difficult for both of them, and he has Drew, who knows neither of them is enough to truly help Aria. A new person will enter their lives soon who will back up that opinion and that's when the real healing begins. unfortunately all that is undone at the party. Oops, I probably shouldn't have said that

    Chapter 12

Be afraid. Be very afraid. I have to admit, when I was writing this, I wondered what the hell motivated Henley to stay away. I honestly believe he has no idea how bad she is. He throws himself into his work, having as little to do with the mad cow, at least since she's been getting madder and has no idea what she's doing to the boys. At least that's the most favourable I can be to him.

    Chapter 11

I think by the end of this no one is going to be able to see the track let alone keep the train on the rails. This is a flying train that turns into a rollercoaster than then becomes a space rocket.

    Chapter 10

We've got a spot in the pig pen reserved for her. We should give the child a chance though. The twins came out of her and they're perfectly sweet. Given the right upbringing, the girl could be too. On the other hand, she very well might be demonic
