I absolutely agree, but I doubt Julianna Graice's towering ego would. People like that think they can get away with anything and that's when we see the epic fails

I have a feeling Hedley does most of his filming abroad is so he doesn't have to spend any time with his wife. He has zero gonads when it comes to her, which is absolutely no excuse when it comes to his children. He'll have a lot of work to do making it up to the boys, that's for sure.

Oh yes, the concert security will be but I was thinking more about the party and about Aria's antics. As for the public reaction if one of the boys was hurt if she removed the security - her publicity machine would find a way around it. Misunderstanding. Confusion. Crossed wires when she thought the boys had put their own arrangements in place. People like Julianna Graice always have ways of coming out on top. I know the people you mean. I would be more inclined to call them psychic vampires, draining all the energy out of a room when they walk through the door. Spending time with them leaves you exhausted and they never have anything good to say. My daughter was involved with one for seven years and I swear she carried a black cloud over her head wherever she went. Of course, my daughter couldn't see it, but it drained her and it was horrible to watch. On the other hand, I love succumom so we'll go with that one, I think

Going by what Alicia told Drew in the first couple of chapters, Drew is basically a babysitter. Outside of the house, Mother Bear is responsible for all major security, which in put into place for things such as Amara's concerts etc. I wonder if Aria and Amara remember that because they need to ensure something else is put into place after the party because MB might just pull all her guys once the boys turn 18. Now there's a thought. As far as I'm aware, incubi (male) and succubi (female) are demons who feed on people's sexual energy, so they basically seduce members of the opposite sex while they are asleep, have sex with them and then feed on their energy. In some myths they kill them, in others they just leave them exhausted with big smiles on their faces. In all cases the demons are all about sex so I don't figure MB would be interested in that with the boys. Generally, I don't think incubi and succubi have children because they're demons. And oh yeah, Ben is in line to be pig food, absolutely
-
Now she has her baby girl (almost) I really don't think she does.
-
Oh, they will be, trust me. When this is all done your pigs can have their feast, although you might want to get some more pigs, as there will be other bodies to hide.
-
Love that imagery. Very poetic. I think possibly succubus is a slightly inappropriate image given the sexual nature of a succubus and these are her children, but I get the point. Sadly, the boys have had limited ability to employ their own staff. The security was a concession but only because it was basically cosmetic as the real security is still handled by Maman

So do I! It was a huge breakthrough for Aria to stand up to his mother like that. It shows just how much Drew has got under his skin and had a good influence on him in only three weeks.
-
Oh no, that would be far, far too good for her.

Everyone is very creative tonight. I love that book. I read it to my kids when they were little. I like The Cat in the Hat too. After all the meddling she does through this book I would be very surprised if anyone came away not hating her.

Two of those questions are easy to answer,. Helen agreed to see him because Alicia arranged it. As Aria's security guard, it would be perfectly reasonable for Drew to look around somewhere Aria spends time. As Drew was genuinely interested to know more about how other people saw the boys he would have taken his time, looked around, talked to the kids etc. which would easily have taken up three hours. I agree that I could have written far more about it, but the story is already very long, and to be honest, it would have been a lot of words for some fairly simple plot points. As for what Drew found out.... that question has to wait for its answer.

Oh, nice one, that man!

Well from a purely story perspective, she kind of needed to do that to push him into what he does next It would have been good if she had been bumped off because she stirs up so much trouble over the bloody party. To quote a favourite character of mine "I probably shouldn't have said that"

Can I get a beat to that She so so is. Wait until you see what she gets up to later.
-
Naughty boy I agree with you completely.

Despite himself, Drew enjoyed his day with Aria and his colleague, an elfin-faced girl with an outrageous dress sense and contagious laugh. She treated Drew as a friend right from the start and both she and Aria included him in everything, explaining the complex world of fashion as they went along in terms even Drew could almost understand. By the time he got home that night he was tired but more relaxed than he had been for a long time. He ordered takeaway then sat in front of his computer

You're definitely not wrong. All the adults are either manipulative or too weak to stand up to the people who are. Although, that might be seen as manipulating, too. I honestly think the only person in their lives who is wholly dedicated to them and might actually properly care about them is Emma, and what can she do? I do think Alicia cares about the boys in her own way and there's always that fear that if she's sacked the next person would be far worse because then the boys would have no one who cares for them at all. It's a very tricky situation
-
The problem Alicia faces is the Mother Bear controls everything. If Alicia displeases her too much she'll sack her then the boys won't even that. She might not be as loyal as she could be but she's walking a fine line and at least she cares.

You're absolutely right. Sadly, although confidentiality is the industry standard, there is nothing that requires confidentiality as such and it's left to the discretion of the practitioner, especially private therapists as opposed to NHS referred professionals. At least they have what they need now.
-
Awww, you haven't met her yet. She's so sweet and demure and....er yeah okay, she's a complete bitch. Don't feed the pigs too much, then need to be nice and hungry

I'm taking my time in this story. No need to rush when I know exactly where this is going and I'm going to so enjoy writing it. A lot of things change, then change again, and then there's the whole falling in love thing, and then the other thing with Ben, and of course there's the party. Hold on to your hats, that party is going to be one wild night. All the Graices together in one place!

Remind me to never get on your wrong side Actually, it's Aria who pays Drew's wages, although who knows what will happen if Julianna puts her foot down.

I'm female and I crossed my legs at your last sentence The boys are deeply damaged and Drew has to tread very carefully, especially when things start to change. It's true that not matter how rich, strong, clever etc you are there is always someone a step up who can push you back, but you still have to be careful. Julianna is not a person to take being pushed with a smile, or to run off with her tail between her legs. Oh I can't wait to see what everyone thinks of her. She's such a delicious mess.
