    Chapter 17

Sacha didn’t want to wake. He wanted to hold on to the blissful darkness, free of pain and fear. He wanted to go to sleep and never wake again. But he could hear someone crying and, despite the pull of oblivion and the knowledge of the pain he would wake to he forced himself to open his eyes. “James?” “Oh God, Oh God, Sacha. I thought you were dead. I really thought you were dead. I was afraid…afraid to…. What can I do? How can I help you? How can I make it better?” “Stop. Let me….” James’ wo

    Chapter 16

It shocks and astonishes me, too, but humans can be so evil to each other. New recently broke of a child trafficking ring going back 16 years with children as young as 11. It's all highly organized and lucrative. Horrible. I'm glad the chapter provoked strong feelings, but sorry they were so traumatic. I hope you'll feel more satisfied by the next chapter.

    Chapter 16

I'm the Queen of Evil remember? I actually enjoy writing scenes like that. It's very therapeutic for me. Gets my stress out on the page. Yes, I torture my boys, but it's for their own good in the end.

    Chapter 16

I appreciate that. I think we needed to be reminded exactly what Sacha had suffered, and James, in particular needed to see it for himself. He, above all needed to understand. Ryland is a monster, but he will be brought to some kind of justice.

    Chapter 16

Sacha's way stronger than he thinks. Way stronger than anyone thinks. Will he suffer for long? Like this, no.

    Chapter 16

Gosh, I did mix up the names, didn't I? This is the beta read version, too. I'll have to fire them Fixed now Thanks for the review. Ryland is irredeemable. I hope you approve of his punishment when it comes.

    Chapter 16

“Sacha. Sacha, please wake up, I’m scared. Sacha.” Sacha groaned. There seemed to be an earthquake going on. The room was shaking. He kept his eyes tightly closed because he really didn’t want to have to deal with that. He had enough problems. He knew he had problems. He just couldn’t remember what they were. “Sacha, please, you’re scaring me. You’ve been out for hours. I thought you were dead. Please wake up.” Slowly, Sacha came to realise the earthquake was, in fact, James shaking him.” He

    Chapter 18

Thank YOU for your lovely comment. I don't mind being called sick, or anything else because at least it's provoking a reaction, which is what I aim for. Of course, it's nicer when I'm not called sick and people actually enjoy my stories.

    Chapter 33

What an amazing review. Thank you so much for taking time to comment. I'm so glad you enjoyed the story and I really hope I'll continue to not disappoint. Thank you again.

I'm sure Cinderella would completely relate.

I loved writing that chapter. Revenge is best served cold

    Chapter 20

There is no easy fix for Jayden's issues, but they're taking steps, and the important thing is they're doing it together. Thank you so much for your support and comments.

    Chapter 18

Haha. Whatever made you think men have to be gay to cry? I'm so happy you've got into the story to that extent.

    Chapter 16

AS is often the case. The price of fame is high, and they're struggling to pay it. Their love is strong, though and it will carry them through

    Chapter 15

She really is, but will she be enough. Jayden is pretty screwed up this time.

    Chapter 11

Indeed she doesn't. Cal hates her and I think he might have a point
  19. Nephylim

    Chapter 9

I like the fact that Cal isn't gay, that is he's not attracted to any other men, he's just in love with Jayden.

    Chapter 6

Glad you enjoyed it. There are some very hard hitting chapters in this story. IT definitely isn't a fluffy bunny story

    Chapter 2

Siona is all kinds of creepy, and she's just starting. As for Cal and Jayden... well.... I will tell you that Cal isn't gay...mostly

    Chapter 1

This is a very different story to To Have and To Hold, but I enjoyed writing it very much so I hope that comes across and that you'll like it too

    Chapter 7

I#'m cool with you hating Lacey. At the end of the day, the most a writer can ever hope for is that their writing provokes a response in the reader - good or bad it's got to be better than apathy. There is meant to be a tad of humour in there and Sacha actually has a great sense of humour which will come to light later.

    Chapter 6

I think the telling comment from Sacha is - all Ryland could do to me is kill me. I'm afraid you're going to make me live and I don't know how to live. Sacha knew where he was when he was with Ryland. He was in his own world and as bad as it was he knew where he fitted. He knew how far he could go and what would happen if he went too far. In the new world he's walking on quicksand. You'll see that again later. As for Lacey. He hasn't seen a woman since he was nine years old. Ever since he's carried around a photogarph of his mother, clinging to it when he lost everything else. Lacey is the closest thing to a mother he is every going to get, so he's clinging to her now, and will do anything in the world for her.

    Chapter 15

I've already dealt with the bodyguard issue. It's a mistake Frank will have to live with for the rest of his life, but I really think the police would have assumed Ryland would have run after the fire at the farm. He's destroyed his home and all his stuff so the sensible thing to do would be to go on the run to recoup. They have no idea how resourceful Ryland is. Even so, it was a mistake Frank will bitterly regret.
