You will. I've set myself up to write a sequel, but I'm not sure when. In that one Sacha will have lots of smiles Not so much in this one, although he will come a very, very long way and I promise his smile is very wide at the end.
I think it's not surprising he's scared after what just happened. I think in the next chapter we'll get more of a taste of what's actually going on in his head and why
I often lose the thread...usually of life I love to write and I love to share. It's wonderful when people comment, especially when they 'get' what I'm saying. I'll put up another chapter very soon. If you want more of Nik you'll like it
It was over a week before Sacha left the hospital. In that time, just about everyone he knew visited him; not that there were many outside his family. Especially in the beginning, Adam was there a lot, asking questions of the nurses and doctors until they must have dreaded seeing him, and chivvying Sacha to take his medicine and do whatever he was told. As if Sacha was capable of doing anything else. He’d always been obedient and that didn’t change.
The other person who visited a lot was Nik, a
There's a lot more to come, don't worry. Sacha has a lot of adventures ahead. It's exciting but scary for him. Frank is there, in the background, it's just that his part in the story is a background one, at least for now. I don't think Sacha will ever be Alex again, because no matter how well he fits in, he's Sacha now. In many ways, Alex died nine years ago.
I know I haven't helped with this by being so unreliable, but be reassured that I never start posting until the story is finished so I'm never going to leave it drop in the middle. I won't say that there's NO pain, but it's different. There are a lot of adventures left to come, but of a very different kind
I know what you mean aboout installments and part of it is totally my fault in that I'm so unreliable in posting. I didn't think it was important how they were rescued. I've told you the thug ran away and James found a phone. He called 911, the authorities came and they were rescued
The last thing Sacha wanted to do was open his eyes. His memory of recent events was sketchy, but he knew there were good reasons for not wanting to wake up. He remembered the beating and he remembered James face. He remembered knowing he was about to die and he remembered the gun. There was something about the gun he should remember but there was no point dwelling on that. He didn’t want to think about it, so he didn’t.
Something was different. He was still hurting but not so much, and that aw
No, thank you. I can't say I only write and post for the reviews, because I couldn't stop if I wanted to I'm an addict. However, no author can deny the reviews are very important and I appreciate every single one. I think James had been such a dick, he needed something pretty hard to bring him around. I guess he's not going to be calling Sacha a pussy anymore.
Aw, I wouldn't want you to be a basket case hun. I guess I'll have to post soon. I'm truly intending to get back on my every Sunday schedule but I have the memory of a goldfish and all my good intentions seem to go to the wayside.
I promise I will try to remember to post the chapter on Sunday - tomorrow. If life doesn't intervene - like requiring me to sleep I will do my best to remember promise. Ryland really did lie on his bed this time, didn't he. He made Sacha into the kind of person who would shoot to kill. Sucks to be him
Nope. One shot. Close range. Right between the eyes - more or less. Sacha was taking no chances. He had only one shot and it had to take Ryland down and stay down. With a shot in the stomach he might still do some damage once Sacha was out.
