    Chapter 11

Ah, but maybe that's the point. Maybe the Professor doesn't WANT him to remember. Maybe it's really important that he doesn't

    Chapter 10

Annie has a job to do and it's effectively a war. Simon definitely has a point. There's a lot more at stake than one man, even if he is an important one. On the other hand, Adam is Annie's best friend and she loves him dearly. I don't think Annie can help herself

    Chapter 9

There are those who will not be so glad.

    Chapter 8

They definitely have a mental connection as well as a physical friendship. That's Annie's job. Her part in The Game is to form a psychic connection between key players. She's not the only one, of course, but she's the strongest on 'our side' As to how much, if any of Adam's mind is left to 'transmit' is another question.

    Chapter 7

Ooops I meant Shaun not Sam

    Chapter 6

I like Sam best. So does Daniel

    Chapter 3

Civilisations have risen and fallen on a turn of The Game. One man's life isn't going to make much difference. Adam's the end player though. He's the only one who can end the game and no one knows how he does it, so they can't afford to kill him in case they inadvertently lose. However, even though he can't die, doesn't mean he has to be looked after.

    Chapter 2

Nope, he's not strong enough to hold out at all, at least not until right at the end Just as well realy

    Chapter 1

Oh, there is so so so much going on
  10. Nephylim

    Chapter 1

This was a weird story to write. It came to me in bits around the main character. It was always a bit weird, even for me

    Chapter 13

Sadly, I think you're right. James probably wouldn't have stopped it, although I'd like to think he would have. James is a spoiled brat and a product of a certain upper class mentality - that he's better than everyone else so their rules don't apply and he can do anything he wants to anyone he wants. It will get beaten out of him eventually.

    Chapter 13

The interesting thing is that I think Sacha would find it a lot easier to forgive James than a 'normal' person would. At the moment James has done nothing more than Sacha expects everyone to do. He hasn't yet got the message he's good for anything else. Yes, something drastic is needed before they have a chance of any kind of good relationship - but drastic is what I do well

    Chapter 13

If only it were that simple

    Chapter 13

Frank is a good, if driven and somewhat blind, man. He won't punish James too harshly, but that doesn't mean that someone else won't. James will not just get his eyes opened but will get them pried and pinned open

  16. Nephylim

    Chapter 13

James gets his eyes opened, no doubt about that
  17. Nephylim

    Chapter 13

Nik is exactly what Sacha needs. As for James - it won't be Nik who shows him what Sacha's going through, and what he went through, but he gets the message for sure Thank you for your continued support. I love your reviews.
  18. Nephylim

    Chapter 13

Oh, James will get his eyes opened. Don't doubt that. It might not be in a good way but he definitely gets the message. As for Nik - he's and angel but even angels don't always have easy rides.
  19. Nephylim

    Chapter 13

Nik is a force to be reckoned with. Between him and Lacey, Sacha is in safe hands... for a while

    Chapter 13

I know. I'm so sorry. I've been moving house and things have been totally crazy. It was all quite quick and we were on holiday the week before so it was home from holiday, pack then move the next day. I will really, really try to be more consistant and reliable.

    Chapter 13

Sacha lay, staring at the ceiling. It was the same ceiling he’d been staring at for over a week, and it was no more interesting than it ever had been. The benefit of looking at the ceiling was that he was able to let his mind go completely blank. He liked it when his mind was blank and he was managing it more and more with every passing day. In the week since James returned things had gone downhill sharply for Sacha. At first, it hadn’t been too bad but once James got in his stride, he found

    Story

Thank you! It was a story that came to me at a funeral and demanded I write it. I had to sit down straight after and write it. I'm glad it pushed buttons for you

    Chapter 12

the thing is, it's all relative. Yes, the children in the refugee camps are suffering far more than he is, but he's never had that experience. He's always known luxury so he won't have any other frame of reference. It's sad but true in reality as well as this story. Spoiled little rich kids can cause absolute havoc without a second thought. You only have to watch tv and see the celebs to know that. James isn't evil and he redeems himsef (in my eyes) and yes, he does suffer on the way. However, I am quite prepared to accept the view he's an evil little bastard. Especially after what happens next. Thank you so much for reviewing.

    Chapter 12

That's a good point. I think James could give him a run for his money You're welcome hun. Thank you for reviewing
