At my old age I often forget I have read a story before. I read through this whole story, and the only thing I remembered was the plane crash killing Miranda. The whole story was a little unbelievable: a 16 or 17 yr old running a humongous cattle station. Then expanding and buying and successfully running 4? more. Bryce fathering a child at about 14 and not finding anything about it till 4 years later, when the boy runs up to him, greeting him, 'Hi, Daddy". A little unbelievable. Then Bryce walking out of a marriage he seemed to enjoy over the issue of the Overlands trying to use him to either save their empire or to combine with his. No discussion, just walks out. The whole idea of Australian cattle stations is foreign to a US Midwesterner, where we have rain, lakes, and green fertile soil. I did run across a website discussing cattle stations and defining terms like station, ranch, rancho, hacienda. Thanks for this great story. I will see if Quoka has more about Bryce and Kes.

Good story so far. i don’t understand how these 2 guys, ages 21 and 17 had the knowledge to establish a farm, build several buildings, dig wells, construct fences and windmills, plant farm crops, raise animals. Their educations growing up on an English farm in the 1910’s must have been pretty thorough. They are pretty amazing. Thanks.

OK, I have now finished Summer and Autumn, reading these in CRVboys. Just want you to know how much I have enjoyed these 2 stories. CJ: Just finished Changing Lanes and its prequel. Many late nights. What a well written, well researched story. A real 'page turner', not unlike many James Paterson novels. Not sure I have read your stories before. I read a lot of stories, more on Awesome Dude than on Gay Authors. My favourite authors are Cole Parker, Sequoyah, Graeme, and Don Hanratty. It was the latter's "Working it Out' that got me into this genre. Great stories. I do thank you. I am a 72 yr old married more or less retired MD from the rolling plains of west central Minnesota. I'm not sure how this discussion thread works. I just finished the most recent posting of "Till Death Do Us Part". The finale, which ends with the two recently marrieds showing their siblings around Paris. I can't believe that this series ends before the two couples enter college. And what of the hints that 35 yrs hence President David will be assassinated??? Is this the end of the entire series? Or is there more to come???? I has been a touching ride, very well written.
