The Power of One - 1. Justice

Justice

You stole their innocence in the blink of an eye.
They locked you away as a monster in a cage.
Never again will you harm the little cherubs.
The nights of terror fade to memories of yore.

You led her astray as a woman and her scars.
They put you away yet her heart remained.
Never again will she fall for old tricks.
The nights of solitude shall soon be at rest.

You lost my respect and serene liberty.
They locked you away to pay for misdeeds.
Never again will I see the man of disgrace.
The nights of my pain fled with god speed.

You were infirmed on that July day.
They sent you back a forever broken vessel.
Never again would we hear ye speak.
The nights of late July were justice served cold.

You were the one who passed on the afternoon of spring.
They could not save you from the great twist of fate.
Never again will you destroy all the lives.
The nights of rest bring the slumber of peace.
