If I Could
If I could paint a portrait of you;
For canvas, I’d use the ordinary days of my life before I met you;
For paint I’d use the rainbows and the sunshine you have brought me;
But what color would I paint your gentleness and goodness?
What shape could I give to your warmth and your love?
I could never capture on canvas all the special things you are and all that you mean to me,
so I’ll just do the things I do best;
That’s love you with all my heart.
