Little Life of Nolan Parks - 24. Deadly Strike - I Miss The Misery
Enjoy!
Tobi's POV
Oh god, what happened? How did Sterling manage to convince me to get into bed with him? I'm so exhausted, and it's the morning after. I lay in his arms, his cock pressing against my cheeks. God damn it all.
I managed to squeeze out of his grasp and found my pants. I snuck out of his room and into the bathroom. I REALLY needed to piss. When I opened the door, their stood Grace with a smirk on her face. “What's happening here? It's 8 am, and Tobi is over, must have been a fun night.”
“Shut up Grace. I don't know what came over me.” I pushed passed her.
She seemed to have a really good idea of what came over me though. “You were horny as fuck last night weren't you? And Sterling came along at the perfect moment, right before jacking off.”
I rolled my eyes. “Yes, that’s exactly what happened.” It is, and I hate it.
“And now you're gonna go into Sterling's room, grab your stuff and be gone before our parents get home.” Like always. When Sterling and I first started this, that was how it worked. We'd never get caught on the days his parents went for company dinners.
“Grace, what do you want?”
“You to stay for a few more hours, snuggling Sterling.”
“I'm not doing that. I feel disgusting right now. I'm going home to have a shower.” Sterling gets really sweaty when he fucks someone. And it usually drips down onto me when it happens soooo, I'm dirty as fuck. “I'll talk to you later.” I grabbed my stuff and was out the door before Sterling even woke up.
Once home I got into a shower and then took a nap. I was awoken by my dad knocking on my door. “Tobi, you have a friend here.”
Probably Sterling. “Tell him to go away!”
“He told me to tell you its Connor.” Connor!? What is he doing here? I jumped out of bed and to the door. “Tobi....” My dad looked down at me.
It was then I realized the only thing on me was boxers. I quickly shut the door and spoke loudly. “Tell him I'll be down in a moment.” Quickly grabbing pajama bottoms and a t-shirt I made my way downstairs. Connor was standing in the entrance way with his backpack. “Hey, Connor what's up?”
“You forgot didn't you?” Connor looked down at his feet. “You said to come here and we'd work on our science project together.” OH MY GOD, I TOTALLY DID FORGET!!
“I'm so sorry Connor! I did forget. “Here, let's go up to my room and see where we're at.” We went up to my room, and Connor took out all the stuff he brought. At least there wasn't much done on it. Now I don't feel as bad.
We worked and worked and worked on the project. After about 2 hours, we had most of it done and needed just to print off a few things. “I'll be right back Connor, I gotta use the bathroom. Can you start on getting everything printed?”
“Ya sure.” Connor smiled as I left the room. Yes, I actually had to go to the bathroom, and no, you don't get to know what I did.
When I got back into the room, there wasn't anything printed. “What are you doing?” I asked Connor as I looked over his shoulder.
He must not have noticed me get back into the room. Connor jumped and spun in the chair. “Tobi!” When I looked at the screen, it was in the folder titled 'stuffs'. My porn folder... “I'm sorry I got curious and took a look and... I don't know. I'm sorry Tobi.”
Connor looked like he was about to cry. He felt so guilty, just by looking at him. I had to take a minute and calm myself down before talking. “Just close it and act like you've seen nothing.” I closed the folder and printed everything out. “I'll get everything ready; you can go home if you want now.”
“That feels like you're kicking me out...” Okay, I kinda am but I just don't want this awkwardness. “I said I was sorry...” He wiggled in his seat, staring at the ground.
“It's just that both of us don't need to be here to get all this together.” Honestly, I just wanted him out of my room, or house. Not here at the very least.
“Okay... I'll see you later then.” Connor walked to my door; I was pretending to focus on the papers in front of me. He stopped looked back and then continued on his way. I like him, Connor, I REALLY like him. But I'm just nervous that the same thing that happened with Henry will happen to him.
Randy's POV
Judging day! Oh god, I'm nervous. It's been a few days since the pictures went up, and since then the judges have selected finalists, but no one knows which ones are in the finals. I hate not knowing.
Liam was hanging out with me while we waited for the judge's decisions. Everyone else was busy with tests or something. Liam didn't have anything though, so he's hanging out me while I am behaving like a nervous wreck!
“What if none of my pictures got put into the final bracket?” I said looking at them again and again.
Liam just smiled. “I'm sure at least one of them got through.”
“But which one, and why?” See nervous wreck.
Liam grabbed my shoulders. “Randy, calm down. Freaking out over this won't help, you just gotta be patient. So take a deep breath and calm down.” I took a HUGE breath in and then out again. “Better?”
I rolled my eyes. “Shut up, Snickers commercial.” Liam laughed at my remark. “But yes it did.”
“Good. Now, why don't we talk about something else?”
It was then that it hit me. Liam probably doesn't know how much Tracy affects Nolan. I mean he's only been in the school for a few months and probably doesn't even know who Tracy is. “Do you know who Tracy is?”
“I know a few Tracys here. You're going to have to be more specific.”
“A year older than you, male. Kind of stocky.” I don't really know anything else about the guy. Liam shrugged. “Well... I think you should know he has an effect on Nolan.”
“What do you mean 'has an effect on Nolan'?”
“Well, when we went to the mall he saw Tracy and went to pay for his books immediately. When I asked him about it, he told me just to leave it and almost started crying. That was the day the art contest started.”
“And why have you waited this long to tell me?” Liam's attitude got protective lightning quick.
It was kinda intimidating. “To be honest, I kinda forgot about it. Nolan told me to leave it be, so I did. I just thought of it now, and so I told you. It wasn't my intention to withhold that info from you, Liam.”
It was Liam's turn to take a deep breath. “Thanks, Randy, that's good to know. Also, you can restart freaking out the judges are back.” I quickly turned around to see the judges coming into the room. Oh fuck oh fuck! The nerves are true!!
Nolan's POV
Tobi, Henry, and I were all getting the final bits of our English projects done. Well, Tobi would be if Connor were here. We were meeting at our table to finish things up, and he hadn't arrived yet.
“Where is he?” Henry looked around the cafeteria. “He's nowhere to be seen.”
Tobi seemed distracted by something. He sat there looking at their project in front of him staring out into space. “Tobi?” I asked for his attention.
He looked up and over at me. “I'm gonna go look for him.” Tobi got up taking his project with him.
Henry and I looked at each other before following. “We'll come with,” Henry told Tobi.
We made our way around the school. Down one hallway, up a staircase, then down and through another hallway. Everywhere we looked Connor was nowhere to be found. It started to look like he wasn't at school today.
Well, that is until we heard Sterling shouting. “What do you think you're looking at?”
Tobi moved like a bullet through the hallways. Henry and I had trouble keeping up with him. As we reached Sterling, we could see Connor backed into a corner. Tobi put himself between the two of them. “What do you want with Connor Sterling?”
The look on his face was super serious. He looked like he was ready for just about anything to happen. Sterling crossed his arms. “Move Tobias, this has nothing to do with you.”
“A: don't call me Tobias, my name is Tobi. B: It has everything to do with me, and you know it!” Tobi glared at Sterling. Connor took this as his chance to quickly come over to us and watch from the side.
Sterling tightened his jaw. “What is the point of this Tobi? Why protect a low life Like Connor?”
“Cause he's not a low life! He's not a criminal, nor is he disruptive. In fact, he's the quietest, kindest person I know! If anyone here is a low life, it would be you, Sterling Williams!” Tobi yelled in his face.
By this time, a crowd had surrounded them. And with Tobi's yelling there was no doubt going to be a teacher in pursuit soon. “Why you...!” Sterling threw a punch at Tobi.
In one swift motion it was over though. Sterling was on the floor. Tobi had dodged, grabbed his arm and flipped him onto his back. The entire student body did an audible gasp at the same time. Sterling got up quickly ready to throw another punch.
“Out of the way everyone!” Mr. Kyles, the gym teacher, pushed his way through the crowd. “What is happening here?”
Sterling was quick to point fingers. “Tobi here threw me onto the ground!”
Mr. Kyles looked over at Tobi, “And your side of the story?”
“He was picking on Connor Buick and I stepped into help Connor. When I stood up for him, Sterling threw a punch at me and ended up on the floor. I was defending myself.” Tobi left out the part where he called out Sterling... I wonder why?
Mr. Kyles looked back at Sterling, who looked away from him. “Well boys, either way both of you needs to go to the office. Come with me.” Tobi and Sterling walked off with Mr. Kyle’s. I hope he's not in trouble...
Liam's POV
“What happened?” Randy and I walked up to Henry, Nolan, and Connor. “We saw Tobi walking down the hallway with Sterling and Mr. Kyle’s.”
“Sterling was gonna beat up Connor for some reason before Tobi saved him,” Henry informed me.
I looked over at Connor, who was flushed and staring at the ground. “Are you okay Connor?” He nodded. “How about you Nolan?”
“I'm fine.” I believed him. He sounded just fine too me, and I am one person who would know. Then his face changed from being okay to... stressed about something. “Let's go.”
Randy looked around the hall. His gaze stopped behind me. When I turned, I glared at a guy who turned around immediately. His blonde hair just long enough to spin with him. Brown eyes, I barely caught a glance of them but just enough to see the color.
Randy spoke and knocked me out of the trance I was in. “Ya, let's go to the gym! I have something to show you!”
The five of us all made our way to the gym. Richie and Dylan were just coming out as we got there. Richie raced up and hugged his brother. “Congrats!”
“Shhh! No spoiling it for everyone!” Randy warned his brother. Richie laughed as we made our way to Randy's display. “Look!” He pointed towards his pictures.
Around them, there were two ribbons. One for 'best display in show' the other a third place ribbon, on the picture of Nolan no less. “He got the best display in the show because of the different styles he presented and how they show off Randy's vast abilities.”
“And I got third place in the portrait division!” Randy took over from me. “I think its super cool, what about you Nolan?”
Nolan had a smile that was creeping up on his face. You could tell he was happy about this before he even spoke. “You did it Randy! Good job!” Those giggles, they are what I like to hear from Nolan.
What did this Tracy person do to make him like that though... Nolan wouldn't just do that randomly, there has to be a reason. I'm gonna find it; I gotta find it.
