The Poetry of M - 11. The Sun and the Sea

The ebb and the flow of life moves and changes, but we remain.

The sun will set and it will rise
and the sea will gather and it will release
but in the sun's setting and in its rising
and in the sea's gathering and in its releasing
Both remain the sun and the sea
and both will remain together
and always be

MrM, that's lovely. A calming thought for a turbulent time. Nice pic too.

I'm glad you caught my meaning.

A gentle wave-like structure to the lines.... Nicely done!

It was for someone who needed a poet's hug today.
