The Last Goodbye

   (1 review)
Genres: General Fiction,
Sub-genres: Drama

A short about death, The Last Goodbye, as possibly seen from being on a different plane, not the living plane. Not so much a story as an impulse written on waking, something I need to get out of my system. Was it a dream? A vision? A communication from beyond? I don't know, maybe you do.

A final goodbye from a different angle.
This is as story about death, please do not read if feel that the subject matter may affect or upset you.
3rd July 2022, this story has been edited and updated by correcting spelling and grammatical errors, I hope I've caught them all.

Warning:  If you are having a bad day, wait to read this story until you have a moderate to good day.  That said, this is a sensitive handling of a serious subject, and should help one think about the potential end of someone's life.

If someone close to us, or we ourselves, may be facing potential or actual end of life, this is a sensitive and thoughtful (and quite brief) commentary on possibilities.  Less than fifteen hundred words, it is very well worth reading.

Response from the author:

Thank you for a wonderful and thoughtful review. I appreciate all of your comments.
