Lethal Loose Ends - 14. Epilogue

Tying up the Loose Ends

Epilog

Jaimee hastily ended Paul’s call and, making some excuse, hurried home. Trembling with anticipation he had difficulty getting his key in the front door. Paul waited in the lounge room with a smile writ large over his handsome features. They simply stood looking at each other. Weeks of frustration and fear dissolved as they collided in a passionate kiss until their hunger for each other demanded physical relief. After hours of amazing sex, Paul and Jaimee acknowledged that their love had withstood a baptism of fire and that nothing . . . nothing could ever sunder them apart.

After weeks of anticipation, Simon and Arthrit flew out of Australia on Thai Airlines to start a new life. After landing at Bangkok airport they were met by a driver and transported to their new workplaces . . . Arthrit to manage a boy bar, and Simon to take up residence at a male-only resort.

They were never heard of again. It’s like they just vanished from the face of the earth. Just a couple of ‘Loose Ends’.

THE END

I'm gonna miss Jaimee . . . he grew on me as I wrote the story. I might write a sequel.

Thanks!. I've often thought about writing a gay detective series. Something with a financial investigation background would be interesting.
