Death in the Honeymoon Hotel - 4. Chapter 4

Tom and George studied the hotel registries for hours the next day. They started after breakfast and quit for lunch. They were sure they had come up with something, but decided to hold it back from Ken until they finished their own investigation.

At the first murder scene, a guest named Mike Finn was registered. At the second there was a Mike Farley, and at the third there was a Mike Faison. Their plan was to get to the Peter Pan Hotel early the next day and wait for a Mike Something or Other to register. They would hang around the lobby, and then sneak a glance at the register after each guest signed in.

“What if the desk clerk wants to know what we’re up to,” George wondered.

“I’ll tell him that we’re waiting for an internet pen pal for sex. We know his first name is Mike, but not what he looks like. It’s a gay resort. The clerk should not be too shocked. We’ll ask him not to say anything to Mike when he checks in, because it’s a surprise.”

Ken had no idea what his sons were up to, but he inadvertently helped their investigation. About eleven in the morning Alex called. He told Ken he’d like to bring over the most enhanced pictures possible of the man in the speedo. “It’s still blurry,” he said, “but they are better than the tapes.”

“Sure, that’s terrific. When would you like to come over?” Ken asked.

“I’ll come over about noon, and I’d be honoured if you would let me take you and Joe out to lunch.”

Ken’s suspicions about Alex were doubled. “That’s very nice of you,” Ken said. “We accept with pleasure.”

When Alex arrived, Tom and George were in their parents’ room. They were there to further their little subterfuge.

“We’ll be out of here tomorrow before breakfast,” Tom said. “The guys we met at the restaurant told us about a nude gay beach in Ft. Lauderdale. We’re driving up there, having breakfast and lunch with them, and spending the day at the beach. We wanted to give you a head’s up, so you wouldn’t worry.”

Just then Alex knocked on the door. He gave everyone in the room a bear hug. Ken believed that Alex was semi-erect. He wondered if Joe noticed it too. He vowed to ask him when they were alone. Nothing gets by Tom. He felt Alex’s not so flaccid package, and he was confused. After the greetings were over, Alex showed everyone the pictures, and Tom and George committed the images to memory, as best they could.

Alex felt obligated to ask the boys if they wanted to go to lunch with them, and they graciously declined. “We’re meeting some other students registered at this hotel, and then we’ll be going to the pool,” George said.

“We’ll be around for dinner tonight,” Tom added. “But don’t worry about dinner tomorrow night,” We’ll play our plans by ear as things move along.”

“You guys go now and enjoy your lunch,” George said.

The detectives left the blurry pictures of the suspect on the dresser. As soon as they left, Tom and George took a hard look at them. They studied it with an eye to find something which would help them identify Mike Whatever.

Finally, George said, “I think I see something.”

“Talk to me,” Tom implored.

‘Without exception, in every picture, his right shoulder is slightly lower than his left.”

Tom took another look. “Damn,” he said, “you’re right.”

He grabbed the pictures and started to leave the room.

“Where are you going?” George asked.

“There’s a copy machine in the lobby. I’m going to make duplicates for us.”

As soon as they were seated, Alex said, “If the murderer stays true to his schedule, some innocent young kid is going to get slashed tomorrow. I cringe at the idea, but I feel so helpless.”

“Maybe not,” Ken said. “Have you acted on the suggestion my sons made that the murderer will strike at The Peter Pan Hotel?”

“Yeah, sure. I’ll try anything.” Alex started to laugh. “I’m sorry,” he said. “I don’t feel like laughing, but I’ve got five undercover cops assigned to the hotel today and tomorrow. They’re all straight, and you have no idea, how they objected to their assignment.”

“I can imagine,” Joe said.

“Should we be there also?” Ken asked.

“Not a good idea. I’ve been at every murder scene, and I’ve been interviewed by every TV station. The perp must surely know my face.”

“He doesn’t know me,” Ken said.

“I wouldn’t be so sure. You and I have spent a lot of time together these past two days. He may be spying on us, and he would recognize you. No, we both have to maintain a low profile. The last thing I want him to find out is that we are looking for him at The Peter Pan.”

“You’re right,” Ken agreed. “But, what now? Do we just sit and wait?”

“Well, I have nothing pressing other than this case right now. What are you two planning to do today? I’d love to join you.”

Ken smiled. He knew full well what Alex was getting at. Joe didn’t have a clue, so he said, “We’re on our second honeymoon, Alex, so I guess you know what we planned on doing today.”

“I figured that out myself.”

Alex looked at Ken, “I’ve given you every hint in my book. Maybe you can guess what I want, what I need.” He laid his hand on Ken’s. Joe had used similar words to Ken when he came out to him. He couldn’t help smiling.

“Of course I got your hints, but I was too uncertain to ask you point blank if what you were hinting at was what I believed you were hinting at.”

“I sure was,” Alex smiled at Ken.

Joe looked totally confused. “What the fuck is going on?” he asked.

“Alex would like to do a little hanky-panky with us, Joe.”

“Not so, Alex said. “I’d like to do a lot of hanky-panky with you if you guys are willing. I need it badly.”

“I’m willing,” Joe said. “I’ve always had a thing for Latin men. But tell me, please, what’s happening here.” Both he and Ken looked at Alex waiting for an explanation.

“It’s simple,” Alex said. “I’ve known I was gay since I was eleven or twelve years old, but I wanted to be a policeman, so I kept it bottled up. I even got married. Luckily, I can satisfy my wife, plus the twins tire her out so much, she doesn’t require much sex. I don’t dare cruise the bars, or make contacts on the internet, and I’m going crazy. Then I met you, Ken. You’re gay and out even at work. You’re married to this handsome dude here. It makes me very ashamed of myself.”

“Don’t be ashamed,” Ken said. He took Alex’s hand in his. “I’ve met many men in your position over the years. I feel sorry for them and for you.”

“Please,” Alex said, “have sex with me. I want to die a happy man.”

“We’ll do better than that,” Joe said. “We’ll make love with you.”

Alex buried his head in his palms. He was crying.

“Let’s go,” Ken said. All three ran to Ken and Joe’s room. They locked the door to the adjoining room. The outer door locked itself.

“How do we begin?” Alex asked. He was being sincere because he was so naïve.

“We undress and take a shower,” Joe said. “Ken and I like to foreplay in the shower before going at it.” He headed for the bathroom, and Ken and Alex followed him.

In the shower Alex was passive. Joe and Ken did all the work. They soaped him up, paying particular attention to his hard, uncut, seven-inch cock, and his ass. Joe rimmed him, while Ken sucked his manhood. Alex was mewling louder than the streaming water. He was all worked up, so they dried each other and went to bed. It was queen-sized, and they formed a daisy chain. The more experienced men stopped all activity before any of them could cum.

They properly prepared themselves, and Alex fucked them alternately. He fucked Joe doggie style, and he fucked Ken missionary style. Ken had the pleasure of receiving his seed. Then they laid Alex on his back, and they took turns spilling their seed high up Alex’s guts. When the three of them were lying exhausted on the bed, and fondling each other, Alex started to cry. It was no ordinary cry. It was loud, racking sobs.

Tom and George are doing it again and going off and putting themselves in potential danger. To make it worse they have set it up so Ken and Joe shouldn't worry if they are missing. Yes, I know, they are thinking like typical teenagers and believe they are both invincible and immortal.

I don't have much faith in five straight police who don't want to work undercover in a gay resort.

I like Ken and Joe performing their public duty by relieving Alex of so much pent up desire.

The boys are placing themselves in great danger. Things always go wrong--The unexpected messes a good plan up and they do not have a good plan. The killer will be wary and likely willing to kill easily.

Is the killer is hiding in plain sight, like this pool boy at the new (yet to be mentioned) 5th gaycation spot, 'The Hostess Inn, which caters to younger college age Twinkies, eager to hit the clothing optional pool and check out tasty treats like ding dongs, king dongs, snoballs, ho-ho's and more.

I'm sure Tom and George are just meeting friends, for some afternoon exercise.

Things are getting interesting, Ken and Joe are getting ready to share some loving with Alex and the lads are putting themselves in danger again. While I'd love to commend the lads for caring enough to want to help I feel like banging their heads together in the hope of knocking some sense in, chasing murderers is dangerous.
