Stockroom Secrets - 10. Chapter 10

'They need to know that they can't keep pulling this sort of shit,' Raffa said to me after dropping his hand back down onto his lap.

'I totally agree, but . . .'

'But what?'

'Well, it's a big step, that's all.'

'Yeah, I know.'

We sat there for a while longer while outside the sky began to darken. As we were getting deeper into autumn, with the days growing shorter all the time, it wouldn't be long now before it would be dark before we even finished work of an afternoon. As it was, we were now only getting about half an hour of daylight after the store's closing time, so it wasn't surprising that darkness had fallen while we had been sitting in my car for about half an hour.

Presently the car park lights came on, bathing the now almost empty space in an odd shade of orange.

'Look,' I said to Raffa. 'I really need to get going, but I would love to talk to you some more over the weekend. Would that be okay?'

'Yeah, of course.'

'Thank you for telling me all this. I mean it. I'm sorry that it happened to you as well, but it is good to know that I'm not alone.'

'I feel the same way. After seeing you with them at the pub the other night I was worried for you, but I was shocked when I heard that something had actually happened. I figure it's the least I can do to let you know you weren't the first to go through this.'

'Thanks.'

With a nod he opened the car door and started to get out, but soon stopped and reached over, placing a hand on my knee.

'You've got my number now, so give me a call,' he said, while grinning.

'I will. Thanks.'

He left me after that and I watched him walk across the car park to where his bike was parked. That was a view I could get used to, I thought.

I started my car and switched on the lights just as Raffa was throwing a leg over his bike and as I drove out of the car park and turned towards home he was following me, but turned in the other direction once he hit the street.

Things were quiet at home when I got there. Mum had Olly doing his homework in the kitchen while she was getting dinner ready. Something smelled good. Dad was in front of the television, watching the news and sipping on a beer.

Mum looked at me as I came through the door, then looked at the clock on the wall, which read almost half past six. No question was asked, but I could see it there in her expression.

'Just been talking to a guy from work,' I said quietly. 'He had the same experience I did.'

'Oh,' was all the reply I received.

'So, what's for dinner?' I asked.

'Home made Thai,' she replied. 'You can help if you like?'

'You really think that's a good idea?' I asked.

'Errr . . . maybe not this time,' mum replied with a chuckle, knowing full well my limits within the kitchen.

Leaving them to it I headed for my room.

'Dinner won't be too long,' my mother called after me.

'Thanks,' I replied, then moments later I collapsed onto my bed.

Tonight marked a week since my night out with Mike and Animal and so much had changed in that time. Even within myself I was surprised at just how much I felt I had learned and grown in the past week. Now that I wasn't totally bottling up all my feelings and emotions from being able to actually talk to people about what had happened, I was more comfortable within my own skin than I had ever been. Of course, I still had quite a way to go, as the number of people who knew my secret could be counted on one hand, but life didn't seem quite so bad now when compared to how it had been at the start of this week.

After finding Raffa's message on my phone once again I quickly added him to my contacts list. I hadn't thought of him as being an ally in my journey, but after his revelations of tonight I was convinced that he was someone who I needed to get to know better. Apart from being someone who I found myself attracted to it appeared he was also a nice guy. What more could I ask for?

For a few minutes I stared at his name on my contacts list and I began wondering if it was too soon to contact him. Should I thank him again for sharing his story with me? Should I just leave things be for now? Would he think it weird if I contacted him so soon?

In the end I decided to send him a text.

<Thanks for tonight. It meant a lot.>

Hopefully he wouldn't think that was too much.

For a few minutes I was just staring at the screen, wondering if he had seen it yet, and if he had, then what was he thinking? Would he send a reply?

By the time mum called out to say dinner was being served there was still no response. Was I expecting too much too soon?

I got to my feet and shoved my phone into a pocket, then headed back out to the kitchen, just in time to be handed a plate.

'Thanks, mum. Smells good.'

As we all sat down at the dining room table there was a ping on my phone. Quickly I pulled the phone from my pocket and checked the screen. I couldn't help but smile to myself when I read the message.

<Any time bud. Talk soon I hope.>

'Good news?' my mother asked.

'Just a mate from work,' I replied. She nodded, offering a small smile that I found difficult to read.

'You know the rules about phones at the table,' my father gruffly rebuked me. I quickly put the phone back in my pocket, chancing a glance at my mother as I did so and receiving a wink in return.

There wasn't a lot that was said during dinner. Apart from Olly we weren't usually a talkative bunch, and he was too busy dipping his spring rolls into a sweet plumb sauce that mum had made. We did get informed, however, that there was going to be a barbeque at Meaghan and Robbie's house tomorrow night. That would certainly be a welcome distraction, I thought.

 +   +   +

Saturday morning I once again woke to find myself the only person in the house, with everyone off doing their usual Saturday thing, not that I minded. Sometimes it was just good to have some time to myself.

While sitting at the kitchen table with a coffee mug and a bowl of cereal in front of me, and my phone in one hand, I started scrolling through Facebook. I was primarily in search of Raffa's profile, assuming of course that he had one. With a name as unique as his I figured it wouldn't take much to find it if there was one and it wasn't long before I was rewarded. I felt a little bit like a Peeping Tom, going back through his posts and photos, but it was well worth it, especially when I found a number of shots of a teenaged Raffa goofing around on a beach and wearing only a pair of board shorts with horizontal stripes of blue and pink and white.

The infectious smile that shone out from a freckled and boyish face, topped by a mop of hair tinged with ginger, was what first grabbed my attention, but as I looked more closely I could see that his pale body, also freckled in places, was equally impressive. Just like me he was perhaps a little on the skinny side, but his smooth and defined pecs and abs made you want to look more closely, made you want to touch him . . . made me want to do other things with him.

His hair was much shorter than it currently was, though it was thicker on top and looked wild as the sea-breeze stirred it around. I actually liked this look much better than I did the mullet he was now sporting, but either way he was sexy, even if he wasn't what some would call classically handsome.

Scrolling through the images I found many more that appeared to be taken throughout his teen years. In some of these he was wearing sports uniforms, along with the battle scars of a game of rugby. In some photos he was in school uniform, in others he was in casual clothes at parties or sitting around at family gatherings, or goofing off with friends. There were even some that were taken when he was a toddler. Looks like he has always been cute.

It wasn't difficult to like what I was seeing, and one part of me in particular seemed to like what I was looking at. With nobody home it was easy to let my desires win out and so it wasn't long before my hand found its way into my underwear to take care of business. I was surprised at the intensity of my reaction, and equally surprised at the outcome just a few minutes later, after I had propped my phone up against the my coffee mug, then shed what little I was wearing and leaned back in my chair at the kitchen table. I was grateful that nobody could peer into the kitchen from the neighbour’s yard thanks to the trees that stood between us.

As my moans and grunts echoed throughout the kitchen the first shot from my rock-hard cock landed on my cheek, with the remainder dotting my chest and abdomen, before the last dribbles spilled over my hand, which was wrapped firmly around the shaft and still milking it for all it was worth.

When my breathing finally settled I opened my eyes and looked down at my hand and the pool of milky white liquid clinging to my skin. I could have grabbed some hand towel and cleaned myself up, but rather than waste all that effort I lifted my hand to my mouth and licked it, savouring the tart, yet salty, taste I had only recently become accustomed to. I then scooped up what I could from my body and sucked this in as well, further cementing in my own mind the realisation that I was quickly becoming a cum lover.

Before logging out of Facebook I quickly sent Raffa a friend request, then afterwards I placed my plate and coffee mug in the kitchen sink, then picked up my clothes and walked to the bathroom to take a shower. When I glanced in the bathroom mirror I noticed the white blob of cum still clinging to my cheek, but it didn't take long to scoop that up onto a finger and then suck it in.

'Waste not, want not,' I said to no one in particular before stepping into the shower, wondering for just a moment what Raffa might taste like.

The remainder of the day was a relatively quiet one. Everyone came home about lunch time, with mum bringing some hot fish and chips from the local corner store, which were soon unwrapped once we all sat around the kitchen table. Mum retrieved some plates from the cupboard and eager hands dug in while we listened to Olly excitedly tell us over and over about the goal he scored in his soccer match.

Afterwards I retreated to my room and logged on to Facebook again, hoping to see that Raffa had accepted my friend request, but by the time we were ready to leave for my sister's house around three I still hadn't had a response. I'm not sure why exactly, but not hearing from him left me feeling a little down and had me second guessing the recent thoughts I'd been having about him. I tried to dismiss those feelings, but they persisted, right up until the four of us pulled into the driveway at Meaghan and Robbie's house, where we soon stopped beside a deep blue BMW sedan with Queensland licence plates.

I had no idea who the owner might be, but apparently my father did.

'Did you know about this?' he asked mum. I could hear the simmering anger in the tone of his voice. That was when the penny dropped with me. Instantly I knew who the owner was and soon found myself climbing from our car and hurrying up their front steps, with Olly hot on my heels.

Meaghan met us at the front door, hugging and kissing us both, before looking anxiously towards our car for just a second. I had the impression she was trying to gauge the mood of our father, but then she turned her attention back to me.

'Are you okay, Gray?' she quietly asked, while one hand gently rubbed up and down the bicep of my right arm.

Fuck. She knew.

'Yeah, I'm fine. Where is he?'

'He and Robbie are out the back getting the barbeque ready.'

'Thanks,' I replied, before setting off through the house and emerging onto the back verandah.

Uncle Bryan was just as I remembered him, even though I hadn't seen him in quite a few years. At the sound of the back door opening he looked up and saw me coming, breaking out into a massive smile as soon as he did so.

He had always been my favourite uncle. I guess that was in part due to the fact he was less than ten years older than I was, but also due to his always buying me the coolest presents when I was younger; like great books about things I had shown an interest in, or a fancy chess set. But now I knew there was another reason for me to love him even more.

'Grayson!' he exclaimed, as he threw his arms open wide and embraced me as soon as I reached him, almost knocking him over.

'What the hell are you doing here?' I asked as I continued to hug him.

'Well, it's great to see you too,' he teased. 'But apparently both my niece and nephew had some news they needed to share with their favourite uncle.'

I stood back and studied him thoughtfully.

'So, mum told you, huh?' I asked quietly, hoping it didn't reach Robbie's ears.

'Yeah, apparently your sister is having a baby. How great is that? It's your turn to become an uncle!' he answered cheerfully, artfully dodging the real meaning of my own question, just as we heard the back door on the house slam shut.

We all looked up to see the rest of the family standing there looking down at us. The scowl on my father's face was priceless.

Oh grow up Dickie and stop behaving like your name. What are you, 12? Perhaps you are jealous because Uncle Bryan drives a BMW so is presumably successful, whereas what are you? A loser?

If Meaghan is anything like her mother and her husband anything like both of them, they will not tolerate Richard misbehaving in their home. He can slam the back door and go throw a tantrum somewhere else. Perhaps he should visit a shopping centre and lay on the floor like a 3 year old brat, kick his legs up and down and put on a little performance for all to see.

I assume Rafael is of Portuguese descent given his family name is De Silva and is likely to have numerous family gatherings he attends throughout the year. This may explain why he is not responding to Grayson's texts and Facebook friend request immediately. His physical description sounds appealing, apart from the hair. A mullet, WTF @Mark Ponyboy Peters? That mullet has to go, it is about as appealing as the Leyland P76 or Scomo.

It also looks like Gray's Dad doesn't like his wife's brother. His Dad is a homophobe (which we already knew).

Just be patient @weinerdog and wait for the one of Rafael in a Speedo and the one of him in a thong with the Australian flag on it, well at least the corner of the flag. The latter one will be most appropriate as the flag will be hoisted, although the flag pole will be a little different from the conventional flag pole. Now fluff, I mean hoist that flag, Grayson. Good job lad.

I wonder if Meghan invited Uncle Bryan on purpose to confront daddy dearest?  She may be more forward than Mum in that regard.  I do hope we see more of Raffa (in all ways, lol!)...

I suspect there is an element of provocation to the invitation @pvtguy, but I also suspect she may have done so to allow Grayson to meet Uncle Bryan on neutral territory to seek his advice and to celebrate the announcement of the baby. Richard may be able to bully Felicity in their home to not mention Bryan's name or invite him to their home, but he cannot do so in his daughter and son-in-law's home, unless he wants to be about as popular as a pro-abortion, disabled, HIV+, black, Jewish, gay man in Florida.

Provocation, hell! It was on purpose since they know how Dad feels. The only reason to invite Uncle Bryan is so he can talk to Gray.
